Viper Squadron was a starfighter squadron in the Alliance to Restore the Republic consisting of RZ-1 A-wing interceptors.

The squadron was part of a failed attempt to destroy the Immobilizer 418 cruiser Compellor. Its mission was to wipe out the cruiser's Imperial starfighter defense while providing cover for Phoenix Squadron as it launched an assault on Compellor itself. However, all of the Viper Squadron A-wings were destroyed along with the B-wing starfighters of Phoenix Squadron.
