Vis was a city on Naboo that housed a transmitter. It was near Lake Vis.

During the Trade Federation assault on Naboo, the city was one of the first targets of OOM-9 in order to destroy a transmitter prior to the Invasion of Naboo. The Earl of Vis was a cousin to an ancient king; he built a banquet rotunda in Theed.
OOM-9's forces took the settlement with low casualties, and most of its inhabitants were captured or killed.
