Frozen rock[1] |
The seventh and outermost planet in its system, Vo was a frozen, moonless, lifeless rock. It was located in the Sacorrian system, one of the Outlier systems of the Corellian sector, in the Arrowhead portion of the Galactic Core. That sector generally fell within the confines of the various galactic governments throughout the history of galactic civilization, despite an attempt by the government of Vo's system-mate Sacorria to lead a secession from the New Republic in 18 ABY.

Description
Edit
Vo was the seventh planet in the Sacorrian system, located in the Outlier systems of the Corellian sector,[1] in the Arrowhead[2] portion of the Core Worlds.[1] It had the grid coordinates of M-11.[2] The furthest world in the system from its sun, Sacorria, Vo was a moonless, frozen rock devoid of life.[1]
History
Edit
The Corellian sector, in which Vo and the Sacorrian system was located, fell within the Galactic Republic as early as the year 25,000 BBY. During the Jedi Civil War of 3,959 to 3,956 BBY, the area fell within the confines of Darth Revan's Sith Empire but was later reclaimed by the Republic.[2] During the reign of the Galactic Empire that replaced the Republic in 19 BBY, Vo's sector was placed under the control of a Diktat who answered to Emperor Palpatine. After the New Republic gained control of the Corellian sector, a governor-general was placed in charge of the region. The Triad government of Vo's system-mate Sacorria attempted to wrest control of the sector in 18 ABY but was foiled by the New Republic.[1] In 137 ABY, the region fell within the confines of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.[2]
Behind the scenes
Edit
The planet Vo was only mentioned once in Star Wars canon thus far, in the planet list for the Sacorria entry, in the 2003 supplement to Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game, titled Coruscant and the Core Worlds.
