Vongspawn was a derogatory term for sentients infected with Vongspawn virus as a result of the sabotaged Ossus Project. Many had looked to the Galactic Empire for aid, not aware that the Empire was in league with the Project's original saboteurs, the Sith Order. A large population of Vongspawn lived in Coruscant's underlevels.
