Major Voss was an Imperial officer assigned to a Star Destroyer that was part of the armada commanded by Admiral Mils Giel. Their mission to transport the Teezl to the Imperial capital was interrupted by a group of Rebels piloting modified TIE/ln starfighters. Voss was taken completely by surprise by the attack to his Star Destroyer, but he immediately ordered his men to return fire. In the end, though, the Rebels hit the ship with the Teezl, destroying the energy being, and thus ruining the Empire's plans.
