Vulture was an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate that served in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.

The Rebel Alliance learned of the existence of an Imperial repair facility (actually a converted BFF-1 bulk freighter) near Coruscant through the Mon Calamari pirate, Tuz, and realized that its destruction would cripple the infrastructure that serviced the starships the Death Star's construction relied on. A pair of Y-wings from Red Squadron was tasked with destroying the facility.

When the Imperials discovered the attack, the Vulture was dispatched to save the facility. However, by the time they arrived the CR90 corvette Falcon had already been destroyed and the repair facility itself fell soon after, at which point one of the Y-wings left the area. Though the Vulture launched TIE starfighters against the remaining Y-wing, flown by Keyan Farlander, the Rebel pilot was able to destroy the remaining transports in the area before jumping to hyperspace.
