Award Proposals is simply that, a place for Wookieepedians to share and discuss ideas about current awards or proposals for all new awards.

Some guidelines for creating awards include:

• All awards must incorporate Star Wars in some way, shape, or fashion.
• Images for awards must fit the same guidelines at Wikipedia images.
• No existing medals or awards may be used. Creativity is appreciated.

[edit] Adding a proposal

Currently, making an award proposal is very easy, and very informal:

• At the bottom of this page, create a new section with a clear title. Example: ==The Great Wookieepedia Award==
• In the body of the section, describe your idea, and why you think your idea should be implemented.
• Don't forget to sign with four tildes: ~~~~

General consensus must be reached in order for a proposal to be enacted. Anyone can vote. If enough time passes without objections being resolved, the idea will be removed from this page and archived.

[edit] Vandalism Hunter Award

This award could be given to these who delete or place the CSD template on mass amounts of vandalism. It should be noted that we already have an anti-vandal award, this is an anti-vandalism award.

I, (1) do award (2) his bounty with the vandalism hunter award for bringing in mass amounts of vandalism, dead or alive.

I'm using the current image for lack of anything truly award-like. If anyone wants to change the wording (I'm worried it might not be formal enough, but at the same time, I'm trying for a bounty hunter theme.) then change it as you see fit. Also, I will try to fix the image. • It's not necessary, in my opinion (neither is the other one, to be honest). We already have one, and drawing too much attention to vandalism is exactly what most vandals want.     • Not really a huge fan of this. For one, if we do have someone like this, we give them rollback powahs! For two, please see Forum:Deny recognition for a synopsis of the ego cases that sometimes attack us. See existing Anti-Vandalism medal. We don't need redundant awards. [edit] Chain Lightning Award for Expansion

I have another idea for an award, obviously. The Chain Lightning Award for Expansion is given out for expanding groups of similar articles. For the sake of examples, if someone were to expand the articles on the Sith, Force Choke, and Darth Maul, than they might be given this award. Of course, the edits must be productive, and you'd need a lot more than three articles, and minor edits don't count.

[edit] Jedi Academy Award

This award encourages users to invite other people to become users.

I, ((1)) award ((2)) with the Jedi Academy Award for helping another user get started on Wookieepedia.

• I think the Amidala Award partially covers this, but while the idea has some merit, the actual name doesn't. It needs to go with the idea of welcoming, and I don't see the Jedi Academy as that. • The only trouble I had was coming up with a name and picture. Possibly call it the Protocol Droid Award. Then there could be a picture of C-3PO. Makashi champ 00:58, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
