Warto was a short-tempered Boltrunian spacer. For a while, he served as a laborer on a Corellian freighter, until the crew abandoned him on Aduba-3.[1] Jaxxon nicknamed him Junior, and Han Solo nicknamed him Gruesome.

[edit] Biography
Warto made a living on the desolate Outer Rim Territories world by mugging other spacers and by helping to carry crates for those who could not afford droid labor. What little he managed to make was quickly spent at Locru's Central Saloon.[1]
He got into a scuffle with Han Solo when the Corellian attempted to pick up the beautiful Azoora,[2], who Warto fancied as a girlfriend[1], but he was swiftly dispatched by Chewbacca.[2]
Hoping to get enough money to leave Aduba-3, Warto tried to find work helping Solo protect Onacra from Serji-X Arrogantus. However, while waiting in line to talk to Solo, Warto insulted the Lepi smuggler Jaxxon and soon found himself kicked down a flight of stairs.[3]
Snubbed by Solo's gang, Warto went instead to Arrogantus and joined the Cloud-Riders. He was killed by Chewbacca during the gang's raid on Onacra.[3]
