A Wave gunner was a type of soldier in the Naddist army, which, in the year 4,000 BBY, was under the command of Queen Amanoa of the planet Onderon. These gunners were stationed in Defense tower battlestations that lined the walls of Onderon's capital city of Iziz. Also in 4,000 BBY, during the Battle for Iziz, the Wave gunners, under the callsigns Gunner 1 and Gunner 4, were commanded by Amanoa to fire their complements of turbolasers and ion cannons at the oncoming force of Beast Riders.
