Weather Modulation Control Center was a building in Coruscant. It was a public service that used advanced technology to stop dangerous storms to be formed in Coruscant. Should it be shut down, nothing would stop the rain. However, if reprogrammed, thunderstorms could be used as a weapon against specific areas, particularly if buildings in the area were not protected

In 33 BBY, criminal organization The Flail attempted to take over Weather Modulation Control Center to reprogram its computer and attack Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum. The Flail were unable to overcame the security.
