Welda Kether was an alias taken by Viqi Shesh in 27 ABY as part of a plot to kidnap Ben Skywalker. She claimed to be the wife of Ran Kether and the mother of Tarc Kether. It was unknown if these people actually existed, or were just part of her cover. The ploy almost worked, as Ben's aunt, Leia Organa Solo was too kindhearted to leave "Welda" and "Tarc" to certain death.
