Wex "TIE-Die" Dafid was a commander in the Rebel Alliance who served as tactical training officer on Independence. He was a tough, no-nonsense officer who was rumored to have ignored practically every rule of combat during his 150 combat missions and who had nearly been killed on several occasions. He wore the marks of his battles in the form of a three-inch scar on his chin and a mechanical hand.
