"He's challenging because he’s smart as a whip-snake, savvy as a sail-bird."
―Shirene describes Temmin[src]

Whip-snakes were a type of snake known for their intelligence. Several months after the Battle of Endor, Shirene, the sister-in-law of New Republic pilot Norra Wexley compared the intelligence of Norra's son Temmin Wexley to that of a whip-snake while she and Norra spoke about the challenges of raising Temmin.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Whip-snakes were first mentioned in the novel Aftermath, which was written by Chuck Wendig and released in 2015.
