The wild grazer was a breed of mammalian, four legged, slow-moving herbivore native to the planet Alderaan.

HistoryEdit

A type of grazer, the wild grazers were a breed which had escaped the domestication of the species on their native world of Alderaan. While the domestic grazers were genetically altered to produce more meat, their wild cousins maintained their natural size and lived in the grassy fields and low foothills of their idyllic homeworld.^[1]

When Alderaan was destroyed in 0 BBY by the Galactic Empire's Death Star, the wild grazer escaped extinction by virtue of the fact that many had been exported or otherwise carried offworld over the past several centuries.^[1]
