William Conrad (born September 27, 1920; died February 11, 1994) was the narrator of the original 1977 television broadcast of The Making of Star Wars.

His voice was replaced by that of Don LaFontaine for the 1995 VHS release of the special, which was a mail-in prize offered by the Kellogg Company.
