William Shakespeare's Star Wars Trilogy

Royal Box Set of the original trilogy

The William Shakespeare's Star Wars trilogy is a series of non-canon books by Ian Doescher presenting the films of Star Wars as if they were plays written by the famous playwright William Shakespeare.[1]

The series consists of three titles covering the original trilogy: William Shakespeare's Star Wars (Verily, A New Hope) (Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope), William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back (Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back) and William Shakespeare's The Jedi Doth Return (Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi). The three titles are available together in one set as William Shakespeare's Star Wars Trilogy: The Royal Box Set.[1]

William Shakespeare versions of the prequel trilogy have been published, with William Shakespeare's The Phantom of Menace: Star Wars Part the First released on April 7, 2015,[2] William Shakespeare's The Clone Army Attacketh: Star Wars Part the Second released on July 7, 2015[3] and William Shakespeare's Tragedy of the Sith's Revenge: Star Wars Part the Third released on September 8, 2015.[4]

William Shakespeare's The Force Doth Awaken, a Shakespeare version of the sequel trilogy title Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, is slated for publication on October 3, 2017.[5]
