- "Ever since the XP-38 came out, they just aren't in demand."
- ―Luke Skywalker upon selling his X-34 landspeeder, which was bought by Wioslea
Wioslea was a female Vuvrian who was a terrestrial vehicle sales merchant. Like others of her species, she had a large head with dual tentacles and eyes in multiple shapes and colors.[2] In 0 BBY,[4] she bought Luke Skywalker's X-34 landspeeder in Mos Eisley, Tatooine[3] for two thousand credits.[5] The Vuvrian stood around the same height as Skywalker and his Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and had two arms that were each attached with a flat, green appendage that articulated to form a cupped hand.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Wioslea first appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[3] The character was designed by Star Wars creator George Lucas himself.[6] She was portrayed by the actor David Stone.[7][8]
