The Wolf Clan was one of the many clans that prospective young Jedi were placed in when they first began to learn the ways of the Jedi Order. The Clan was named after the fierce predator wolf.

Young Jedi were typically assigned to a clan between the ages of four to eight years. Each clan consisted of about twenty hopeful Jedi and could include any number of different species. Since the lessons being taught to the younglings were relatively simple and basic, it was not uncommon for as many as ten different clans to be training together at the same time. The lesson taught to the younglings during this time period formed the base of their skills that were refined and expanded as a Padawan upon under the watchful eye of their Jedi Masters.
