1968. The Year of the Pitcher. Former White Sox farmhand Denny McLain won 31 ballgames. Bob Gibson recorded a dystopic 1.12 ERA. Carl Yastrzemski won the AL batting crown with a paltry .301 average, the lowest ever for a batting champion. To celebrate this magical milestone in the history of Western Civilization, the Wookieepedia AgriCorps will host Meeting 68 on June 7 at 8 PM ET. Don't expect to get any hits.
