This is an introduction to the Wookieepedia project for visitors. There is also an article about it at Wookieepedia.

Wookieepedia is a wiki-based online encyclopedia that contains detailed information about the Star Wars movies and the spin-offs from those, including books and video games. The name is a parody of "Wikipedia" with the word Wookiee (a popular in-universe Star Wars species) being merged with the suffix -pedia from the word encyclopedia. Wookieepedia was founded by Chad "Whiteboy" Barbry and Steven "Riffsyphon" Greenwood.
