Boba Fett was the unaltered clone of Jango Fett. Living with his father on Kamino, Fett met with the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi shortly before his father's death at the Battle of Geonosis. After this, Fett became a bounty hunter, and was hired by Darth Vader after the Battle of Hoth to capture Han Solo. Fett tracked the smuggler to Cloud City and assisted Vader in carbon freezing Solo, then brought Solo to Jabba the Hutt. Luke Skywalker later came to Jabba seeking to rescue his friend, and after a climactic battle at the Pit of Carkoon, Fett was killed when he fell into the sarlacc.
