Would someone make an article about the various lightsaber colors, please? Thank you. Darth Cornflakes 15:47, November 2, 2009 (UTC)
- They are listed within the Lightsaber crystal article. For individual colors, however, some do have articles, i.e Bane's Heart from Galaxies, and they are listed in the crystal article too. JangFett (Talk) 23:50, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

I wish to create, help create or request a page for "Star Wars: Renaissance" (Original title: "Renacimiento"), a widely known (if not the most known) spanish-language fanfilm. It fits with Wookieepedia's Notability of fan projects policy: it's a 4 years-long project, greatly covered by mainstream media including radio, newspapers and TV, and followed by fans and webmedia from around the world, including Spain, Perú, and many others spanish and english-language countries. It has also been praised and supported by official SW artists such as Henry Gilroy, Ramón F. Bachs, Ray Park and recently Pablo Hidalgo and Steve Sansweet. I hope its worthy of been included on Star Wars' biggest source of knowledge! If someone can just give me a starting point to the article, I'll shape it following the style of other fanfilms on the wiki. Cazamalos 20:12, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

I have noticed that the new Star Wars: The Old Republic "Deceived" trailer has been listed as a source in various articles by providing a direct link to the video, rather than to an article about the video. This is not exactly a request but I don't know where else to ask this question. Why don't the Special Editions of the Films have separate articles when new editions of Reference Books DO have separate articles? Does Wookieepedia have a policy about this? NetSpiker 23:35, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I think there should be a separate articles for the Special Edition of The Ultimate Visual Guide that was was released in March 19 2007. We already have separate articles for all 3 edition of A Guide to the Star Wars Universe and we also have separate articles for the various new editions of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. This indicates that every new edition of a reference book should have a separate article as long as it has new content. The Ultimate Visual Guide: Special Edition contains information about Star Wars: Legacy, which didn't even exist when the original version was released in 2005. NetSpiker 07:04, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Since there've been no objections, I've decided to start the article myself by copying and modifying the article of the original edition. I'm new to wikisand there's a lot I don't know how to do yet, so it'll take me a while to get it up to standard. NetSpiker 11:04, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I would like (to write) an article on physics in Star Wars, i.e. how the rules of physics apply the same as in our universe and how they are different. The same goes for articles on exogeology (the geology of planets other than earth) and xenobiology. But I know less about such subjects myself. -- User:Fransbal 15:15, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

- I know that we have a Starfighter combat and a Space warfare page, but I personally would love to see a page created for Ground Warfare. With all the ground base and planetary battle there are, not to mention the awesome ground warfare vehicles such as the AT-AT, I think that creating this article should be a piece of cake. What do the rest of you think? Apotheoses Jedi 03:22 , 13 October 2008 (UTC-6)
- Now that I think of it, since there are aerial vehicles that can be used as well, perhaps if we create a page we should just call is Planetary Warfare. In that case with Planetary Warfare we could include weapons like the Planetary Turbolaser & Planetary Ion Cannon, Planetary shields, etc....Apotheoses Jedi 05:38 , 13 October 2008 (UTC-6)
- We'd have to include past battles, major and minor battles. And have a list of troops and equipment used. What equipment was most popular during what times. The more I think about it the bigger it gets. Planetary Warfare sounds good to me. --TVoid 10:00, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Both Starfighter combat & Space warfare are large articles. Lets not let the scope of the project stop us from doing it. Apotheoses Jedi 19:23 , 13 October 2008 (UTC-6)
- Indeed. We'd need an article on examples of the most effective weapons and how they were deployed. Same thing with droids and vehicles. Perhaps a list of General's who commanded Planetary Warfare in Canon. Maybe we should start and get the ball rolling. Perhaps start with the land battle of the Battle of Coruscant.--TVoid 09:28, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Can we have a page of jedi and sith by species?Meesa yoda 02:11, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I'd be up for the task (or at the very least get a head-start on the project), though it would probably be best to separate the Jedi and Sith into two lists, given the number of both throughout the millenia. // ~mikah~ 22:56, 7 September 2008 (UTC)After taking a look at quite a few lists of sentient species, there doesn't seem to be as many Jedi nor Sith as I anticipated. Perhaps that will change when I look up Humans, but maybe a better list would be "List of Force-sensitive individuals by species"? Or does anyone think the former idea would prove more useful? // ~mikah~ 00:18, 8 September 2008 (UTC)- You could use this as a starter list but I only have one example of each species listed. --Eyrezer 05:20, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

I was searching through clothing and I noticed these two articles were missing: Rebel military uniforms and Mon Cal Jerkin. Some other possible articles include the Hologram tech from the Starfighter game, Saddle, Elevator, bridle, Kaminoan cloners, Crash webbing, and Fire extinguisher (R2-D2 info). - Difficult one. They are only Mentoined in Destiny's Way so I don't know if we can say they are the same as socks in the real world, I can't recall them being mentoined anywhere else. The only canon information I have on them is that old socks sometimes smell like a coral craft's ventilation. I think there should be a separate article titled "Short lightsaber." I don't think that short lightsabers are the same thing as shotos. Shotos are lightsabers with short blades. But aren't short lightsabers lightsabers with short hilts? This can be seen in kotor and kotor II with the short lightsabers. I'm not sure, but I'm positive that short lightsabers are probably not the same as shoto, so I'm requesting an separate article for short lightsabers. Cyfiero 05:44, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see your point but I disagree. In KotOR and KotOR 2, I got the impression that short lightsabers were so named because they had short blades. Otherwise, how would a shorter handle make it easier to wield 2 at once?-- Darth Skirata
(Talk) 21:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the short handles would be weigh a bit less than the heavier ones, and also, the handles would be designed to be shorter so that the handle would better fit one hand than two. I think so. But shorter blades can not make it much difference in better 2-weapon fighting either. Still, I still think there should be a separate article with short lightsabers, like the one that Yoda used. The short lightsabers from KotOR and KotOR II did not have shorter blades still, but slightly shorter hilts. I hope they have a source somewhere. I'll try to find one to see if short lightsabers are shorther hilts or the same thing as shotos. I have experience with swords actually. A shorter hilt can provide better one hand wielding of the weapon instead of two hands. I think some lightsabers were often a little bit hard to control with simply one hand so that shorter hilts can be easier to control. But even if the short lightsabers in Kotor (II) did have shorter blades, they weren't as short as shotos, I'm sure. Like I said, I'll try to provide more evidence whether it is a shorter hilt or blade. Cyfiero 01:02, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see your point. Having some xperiencewith swords myself, your explanation does make sense. I'd create it or help you create it if you could prove from another sorce that this is different from a shoto.-- Darth Skirata
(Talk) 01:16, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Sure thanks. But I'm really busy right now, so I don't have time at this moment. Cyfiero 01:50, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- But actually, the evidence to support this speculation is by a simple observation. Compared to other shotos (like the ones that Luke used or he one that Sora Bulq wielded), the short lightsabers aren't nearly as short as the shotos' blade. I think that's pretty clear evidence. The short lightsaber is nowhere near the length of the other confirmed shotos. Cyfiero 04:58, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I know I'm merely a guest here, but can we have an article for the Crinya-class Light Freighter? I have a picture of this one and I know there used to be a pretty good description of it on some fan site. It was NOT fanon, though, and the guy sourced it from some WEG supplement. It actually appears on this site, but as a redlink under Gallofree Yards as one of their products. Since I don't have the WEG supplement, would someone who does (or someone who printed out the description back when it was on the 'net) try writing an article? Thanks in advance.

In Thrawn Trilogy Dark Force Rising Bel Iblis says
"There were times," Bel Iblis agreed. "I'll admit to having been extremely disappointed when you were dismissed from the Imperial Academy—you'd shown considerable promise there, and I felt at the time that a strongly loyal officer corps was one of the few defenses the Republic still had left against the collapse toward Empire." He shrugged. "Under the circumstances, it's just as well that you got out when you did. With your obvious disdain for authority, you'd have been quietly eliminated in the Emperor's purge of those officers he hadn't been able to seduce to his side. And then things would have gone quite differently, wouldn't they?"
"Maybe a little," Han conceded modestly. He glanced around the war room. "So how long have you been here at-you called it Peregrine's Nest?"

The Great Fandom Schism or Fandalorians vs. Talifans or whatever. Can somebody write a neutral, informative, and sober article on this split within the SW-fandom? KEJ 18:25, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- I was just thinking about that the other day. But it's far from the only schism to ever divide the SW fan base... what about a Fandom controversies article, sections on, for example, the SSD length issue & the aforementioned Fando/Talifan issue? The downside is the possibility that writing about controversy would only spark more controversy. But I think it'd be better to have it there instead of clogging up other entries with possible bias and causing edit wars. As many others have said, having bias in other articles tends to hurt Wookieepedia's image and credibility. With a Controversies page, at least you're telling the user, "Okay, here's one side, here's the other." But then, it may also be in conflict with WP policy "Wookieepedia is not a battleground." I don't know, it's just an idea. GeneralTarfful 03:45, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I support your idea, General, since it incorporates my idea ;-) KEJ 07:44, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

- I'd like to make an article about the Sith Sniper rifle, because we don't have one. Does anyone object?

- How about an article addressing the rumor/urban myth of the "Original Nine Books" - which is what Lucas "based" the movies on? See these links for more: http://www.theforce.net/latestnews/story/gary_kurtz_reveals_original_plans_for_episodes_19_80270.asp
