   • Huk redirects here. You may be looking for Houk or Huhk. Also: Incidentally, this allophony could be mentioned in BtS or not, if you feel.
   • Intro: Reptilian can be linked here too.
   • Intro: After the Kaleesh gained the upper hand in the Huk War, they took the fighting to Huk colonies and wiped out civilian settlements. This is important enough to be mentioned in the intro, an excuse to see the Yam'rii as the victims.
   • Intro: You could mention that the Republic did not punish the Yam'rii
   • Bio: Mantis-like? Then I want an article on mantis. And a link.
   • Society: You seem to suggest that the Yam'rii are little more than xenophobic monsters. Please, mention that some Yam'rii had social relations with mammals, such as Kitik with Swilla Corey (as mentioned later).
   • Evolution: What are "lower insects? Lower than what?
   • Evolution: "Minerals and ore"? I thought ores were rocks containing certain minerals, and as such minerals themselves. Maybe replace with "Minerals, including ore"?
   • The Huk War: "their assault on the Shrupak" must be linked and, I believe, expanded.
   • The Huk War: "Several new resistance leaders sprang up". Please specify you are talking about Kaleesh leaders.
   • Later conflicts: Context on the IBC, and don't use an acronym in the first mention of something like that.
   • In the galaxy: Last sentence of first paragraph is unsourced.
   • BtS: Mention that Purvis is not credited as Kitik, but only as the Jawa.
   • BtS: The card's statistics make Keed'kak powerful indeed, but she automatically loses if opposed by Kal'falnl (or "forfeited", whatever it does mean). If you don't say that, you are omitting important information.
   • BtS: "Nearly thirty years later" You've just mentioned 1995, meaning that you are talking about circa 2025 AD. Please say "Nearly thirty years after (specific event).
   • Please, when you use several footnotes in a row, such as "brood.[34][2]", write the lower number first.
     • I've sofixit'ed a few.
   • Maybe more images could be used; I suggest you the third page of "The Dreams of General Grievous", fifth of the complete webcomic, featuring the expressive heads of Yam'rii next to the caption "Of late, I have tasted failure."

2. When you talk about Grievous working for the Commerce Guild in "Later conflicts," it can be a bit confusing if you're not familiar with the source. A bit more explanation would be nice. Otherwise, seems clean. Chack Jadson ^(Talk) 00:06, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

     • Thanks for the look. I've addressed 1 and 2 (I don't want to get too off-topic on Abbaji). As for the CW possible Yam'rii, it's in a scene where the camera zooms quite quickly from a Dulok to some Herglic-looking alien, so all you would get is a mantis-shaped blur, which wouldn't be too illustrative... I have half a mind to remove the "possible appearance" completely, but I decided to grandfather it in since it was there before I began work on the article and it could be a Yam'rii in that blur-over shot. ~ SavageBob 05:31, April 23, 2010 (UTC)

   • I removed the "apparently" in this sentence to avoid the speculation. If this really is just speculation, I would recommend finding a different way to transition into this paragraph: "Grievous, however, was unsatisfied with this concession."
   • Is it possible or even important enough to link or redlink for this ship? "but his ship was crashed by the InterGalactic Banking Clan"
   • Are you certain you've checked all of the ANH's wide-ranging adaptation material for any mention of a mantis creature in the Mos Eisley cantina? The ANH novel, for example, among many?
   • Also, regarding these "possible appearance" items in the Appearances list. I would recommend simply asserting that the creature in the Davin Felth story is a Yam'rii. That story's events are intended to mimic exactly what happens according to what we see in the film, so I don't think that's going out on a limb too much. And I personally would just assert the same for the Clone Wars episode creature, based on the whole "if it walks like a duck" notion.

     • Thanks for the review. Per your point about the "apparently," I was just trying to tell the story from the Yam'rii's point of view, and they wouldn't have known Grievous's motives with any certainty, but that is why he acted. In other words, there should be no objection to the way it is now.
     • As for Grievous's ship, I'd be surprised if there wasn't already an article. I'll look into it and stub one if there's not. Will report back soon.
       • Checked, and linked. It's the Martyr.
     • I did indeed check all the adaptations I could think of, including the Marvel adaptation, the Dark Horse adaptation, the manga adaptation, etc. In the ANH novel, there is this line: "Hovering near the bar itself was a towering insectoid that Luke glimpsed only as a threatening shadow." Per your next point below, would this meet the duck test, you think? There was at least one other insectoid in the bar, Tzviitt or however you spell his name, but I'd hardly describe him as "towering."
       • On further reflection, I think a tall insectoid standing at the bar is pretty assuredly Keed'kak. Added the novelization to the appearances list. ~ SavageBob 05:56, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
         • Sounds good. I would think it also very possible that the species could receive a similar mention in the ANH junior novel, radio adaptation, and/or radio adaptation NPR script, if you haven't yet checked those as well. I don't have them myself, and I severely doubt any kind of new information would be in there, so I won't hold up the nomination with this. But, if you haven't yet, please make sure you check up on these for possible inclusion. It may be a good idea to start a KB thread asking for people to help out with checking these items, since someone out there has them. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:22, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
           • I've got the radio adaptation, and nothing there. I was able to view most of the cantina portion of the A New Hope junior novel on Amazon.com, but there were a few restricted pages, so I'll ask around for that. ~ SavageBob 17:08, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
     • Finally, I can buy the Davin Felth story as representing Keed'kak, but the Clone Wars one is iffier, simply because the camera zooms by so quickly, and other species could also fit that description, such as the Vratix. At least in the Felth story, we have a pretty solid idea of what aliens were in the cantina due to other corroborating sources. In other words, I'll upgrade the Tales story to an appearance but keep the Clone Wars one as a possible. ~ SavageBob 23:56, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

In that case, however, I think it would be best to remove the lone "possible appearance" item from the Appearances list, since it's just speculation, and leave only the BTS note with the Appearances list reserved only for for-certain items.
