Just one[]
"hair-simulating protrusion from her cranium…" It looks more to me like some sort of hat, not hair. And if the confusion arises when one reads it, the possibility that another will be similarly confused presents itself. I would therefore suggest calling it some sort of general brown covering as opposed to hair simulation.—Tommy 9281 13:23, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
Toprawa[]
Article should have a {{1st}} and/or {{1stm}} tag and evidently a {{1stID}} tag.Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:32, January 2, 2011 (UTC)The previous objection is now resolved, though the page move raises a new question for me. Please convince me why using the "Nickname" template is appropriate here, as opposed to the "Conjecture" template.Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:33, January 25, 2011 (UTC)Should the name field in the infobox not be changed from "Betty Droid" per the page move? This final sentence of the BTS is basically repeating the exact same thing that's already been established in that section. I would recommend cutting this entirely: "The droid's character model was inspired by a scene from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith in which a BD-3000 luxury droid briefly appeared."Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:55, January 25, 2011 (UTC)I'm also going to echo one of Tranner's objections below. The exchange between Alama and the droid would be much more appropriate for the intro quote than what's currently there.Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:08, January 25, 2011 (UTC)- He shushed her and put his finger to his lips. - I'm satisfied with the changes made per the quote objection below. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:58, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

No quotes? Surely there's something from the episode.- Added. NaruHina Talk 04:00, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- I think you misunderstood me. You say in the article that Alama told the droid to remain silent; that quote would be far more relevant than Bane's. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 13:58, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- He shushed her and put his finger to his lips. NaruHina Talk 20:21, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- If that is the case, I think the bio needs to clarify this a bit. Regarding the quote, after a brief discussion with Toprawa, we agreed that it should probably be removed, since it is not relevant to this droid. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 21:46, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

"Hostage Crisis" should be linked to in the BTS; I'll leave that up to you to decide how.Is the information on the origin of the BD-3000 relevant to this particular article? I really don't see why it should be in the BTS.Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 23:43, January 13, 2011 (UTC)- That's the reason they use the BD model in the show. People had me include an explaination for the VJ, because it was provided in the Rookies official BTS, so I just transposed it. It's really one of those situations where it's there, it doesn't hurt the article, and there's not a pressing reason to take it down. NaruHina Talk 04:00, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Then please make it more relevant to this particular droid. If anything, that information should be condensed to one sentence. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 13:58, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Now? NaruHina Talk 17:31, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not seeing any changes. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 21:10, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Here. It's changed slightly since then, but that's the meat. NaruHina Talk 00:07, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- That does not satisfy this objection. I asked you to condense this information into a single sentence, because the information is not relevant to this particular droid. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 00:23, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry. Done. NaruHina Talk 20:28, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- While I can see this was fixed, it appears that a minute later, you re-added the previous version of the text, which has resulted in Toprawa's objection above. Please rectify this. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 22:40, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- It said I was edit conflicted. Fixed. NaruHina Talk 20:14, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Naru, this is still not fixed. Frankly, I'm starting to get tired of this. Please condense that entire paragraph on the origins of the droid into a single sentence. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 21:52, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Might I offer a compromise and suggest removing the sentence about George Lucas being inspired by Bettie Page and leaving the rest? That sentence, specifically, seems extraneous to this article's subject. 21:57, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- While I agree that that sentence should be removed, I still think the two remaining sentences could easily be condensed into one. Currently, only the last sentence has remotely anything to do with this particular droid. Cut some extraneous details from the first sentence, rephrase it a bit, incorporate it into the third sentence, maybe reword the third sentence a bit to make it shorter, and it's done. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 00:25, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and modified the paragraph in question to demonstrate what I had in mind. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 00:44, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Heya[]
Can you mention what planet the Republic Executive Building is on in the intro?"...the droid did appear, briefly, in other scenes of the film and inspired the droid's depiction in episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars." Kinda nitpicky, but this sentence makes it seem like the droid from Bail Organa's office is the same one that has appeared in several episodes of TCW.Menkooroo 02:42, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

Approved as a Good article by AgriCorps 21:09, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure about this, but isn't "Betty Droid" a generic name for all BD-series luxury droids? I know I've heard the term used elsewhere, but I can't remember where. ~ SavageBob 03:48, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
- You're thinking of "Betty Bot." She's credited under the name "Betty Droid," which is different enough. NaruHina Talk 12:39, December 23, 2010 (UTC)
- No, I mean in that "BD" is pronounced almost like "Betty" and that, therefore, all BD-series droids have been dubbed "Betty droids" since ROTS or AOTC days. I'm away from my books, but I'll check a few sources when I get home. ~ SavageBob 15:17, December 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, I found it thanks to the wonders of Amazon's book search function. :) According to Star Wars: The Clone Wars: New Battlefronts: The Visual Guide, p. 28, "Betty Droid" is a generic term for all BD-3000 model droids. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia, p. 22, says the same. Might be worth moving this article to "Unidentified BD-3000 droid", or else disambiguating her in some other way from the other "Bettys" out there. They all look alike to me, though. ;) ~ SavageBob 15:41, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

- Just a thought, but should this article be Unidentified BD-3000 luxury droid (Senate hostage crisis) (or just Unidentified BD-3000 luxury droid)? Darth Karikawill destroy your planet! 23:44, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
