Request submitted by: LelalMekha

Purpose: Hello everyone. Given that Cavan Scott has written two of the Adventures in Wild Space books that have been released recently, I thought it would be interesting to interview him. I already sent him the interview request (see below), and he signalled his agreement in principle. All that remains to be done is to write the questions themselves. Discussion[]

Although not many people may have read the Adventures in Wild Space book, I think it's important to give every editor a chance to suggest interview questions. This discussion space is devoted to that. LelalMekha (talk) 23:25, March 15, 2016 (UTC)

  • Given these are Scott's first Star Wars works, what was his source of inspiration for creating new characters and planets?
    • Specifically, what inspired Captain Korda's design?
  • How many years after the Clone Wars is Adventures in Wild Space set? Cwedin(talk) 00:02, March 16, 2016 (UTC)

To: Cavan Scott From: REDACTED Subject: Interview request

Dear Mr. Scott:

My name is REDACTED and I'm a member of the Star Wars online encyclopedia Wookieepedia (http://starwars.wikia.com), which contains over 100,000 articles about topics from the worlds of Star Wars. I decided, among other projects, to give an expansion to the various articles related to your recent and ongoing Star Wars work. When redacting quality articles, we often try to collect useful, never seen before intelligence regarding the genesis and development of the works treated. As such, our community values authorial insight, and is always happy to collect it and share it with its readers whenever possible. For that reason, I, in the name of all Wookieepedians, would like to ask you to participate to an e-mail interview.

It goes without saying that you would be perfectly free to ignore any question asked, for any reason whatsoever. The contents of the interview, simply the questions and answers, would be considered as licensed as licensed by CC-BY-SA. (As explained in greater detail at community.wikia.com/wiki/Community_Central:Licensing.) They would appear as an annex page on Wookieepedia, which would be administratively locked from edition so that you statements cannot be altered.

Wookieepedia, and the Star Wars fandom as a whole, have always cherished their relations with franchise's authors. We hope that you will agree to this interview and look forward to discovering new intelligence regarding your works.

Starwarsly yours,

In care of the Wookieepedia community,

REDACTED "Lelal Mekha"

Wookieepedia Editor
