Selection processEdit

1. Any Wookieepedian will nominate potential Official Friends on this page. Or, websites / individuals who request to become an Official Friend will be placed here.
2. Nominations must be related in some way to Star Wars, Wookieepedia's sole concentration
3. Other eligible Wookieepedians can vote for (or against) the nominated site over a period of two weeks.
4. The Administrators will approve the decision, as determined by Wookieepedia's Consensus policy, based on the votes and any other relevant factors
5. The nominated site will be contacted by an allocated Wookieepedian, inviting them to become an Official Friend.
6. With the nominee's approval, they will be declared an Official Friend.

Removal processEdit

1. Any websites that fail to be related to Star Wars, Wookieepedia's sole concentration, can be considered for removal.
2. Any Wookieepedian, websites, and/or individuals may nominate to remove a current Official Friend on this page.
3. Over a period of two weeks, other eligible Wookieepedians may vote for (or against) the nominated site.
4. Administrators will approve the decision, as determined by Wookieepedia's Consensus policy, based on the votes and any other relevant factors.
5. Once consensus is verified, the website will be removed from the Official Friends list and its name removed from the main page.
6. If an existing Official Friend has altered their site in such a way that a connection to Wookieepedia is no longer visible, or has changed their format significantly since their nomination, an administrator may remove them from the Main Page prior to the closing of this vote.

1. As strongly as I pushed for this OFW back in the day, the site is not the same. It is no longer a Star Wars forum and news site. It redirects to its current incarnation as a movie news site, with so little to do with Star Wars, it may as well be nothing.
