Non-canon commercials and PSAs

This trash compactor discussion contains various commercials and public service announcements that do not contain any new canon material. Just because a commercial or PSA contains Star Wars actors reprising their roles or contains Star Wars-related characters does not mean that we need to have an article for them. There are countless more commercials that have used Star Wars elements in them, and I do not believe that we should open the door to having an article for every commercial that uses something from Star Wars. Keep

  1. There are lots of things on Wookieepedia that don't add new canon material, including everything in Category:Infinities and the vast majority of things in Category:Star Wars culture. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be here.   7. We really should keep it. Yes, it may not be canon nor add new canon material, but guess what? So does the Robot Chicken Star Wars specials and the Family Guy's Laugh it off Fuzzball specials, and last I checked, those were official LucasFilm productions (not to mention actually part of the wiki), and most likely those commercials were also official LucasFilm productions as well (otherwise, US Government PSA or not, they would not have gotten the rights to use them). Heck, in this particular case, it was even shown on the Star Wars website (at least prior to the redo of the website), so that makes it even more clear that this was considered Official Star Wars/LucasFilm material. I thought the argument against these kinds of things was for whether it was official materials, not canonicity (heck, if we go by canonicity alone, a LOT of things would be deleted just because they aren't canon, like the Infinities brand or The Star Wars comics).
