Star Wars Flu (talk - history - links - logs)

It's kinda cute, I guess, but I'm skeptical that it meets the Notability policy.

The names that this article asserts are also suspect. It claims that alternate names for "Star Wars flu" are "Wookiee Hookie, Darth Vader Virus," and "Sith-itis." However, out of the four external links included in the article...

  • The term "Wookiee Hooky" is used just once in the NPR article, and once in some random fan's blog.
  • The terms "Star Wars flu," "Darth Vader virus," and "Sith-itis" are not used in any of the four external links at all. However, "prequel-itis" is used once.

So the name "Star Wars flu" itself is currently sourceless. The name "Wookiee Hooky" was notably used once in an NPR broadcast. It honestly seems like someone tied together disparate threads from the four external links (two of which aren't really close to being notable at all) and tried to assert that the idea of Star Wars fans skipping school to go see a SW movie was a widely-recognized phenomenon. I have doubts, however. Menkooroo 02:45, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
