This article should have gone long ago for the following reasons:

Wikipedia has hardly anything to do with Star Wars. It's an encyclopedia for everything. Out of their 3,000,000 articles, about 1,000 are about Star Wars. We also don't have articles about the Internet Movie Database, because they have some information about the Star Wars films and characters or about the Encyclopedia Britannica because some articles have to do with Star Wars.
Wikipedia has a Star Wars portal and a project for Star Wars, but both don't meet the notability of fan projects.
It's right that Wikipedia has some relevance to Wookieepedia's history, but there's no need for an own article. Everything relevant should be included into the Wookieepedia article. If someone is interested in Wikipedia's history, then Wikipedia's article about themselves gives better information anyway.
There are some links, but a lot of them are in templates and can be fixed in one edit and we have bots for the rest.

Thus, any relevant information should be merged into the Wookieepedia article and no article for itself should exist about Wikipedia. I can see no point in a redirect to "Wookieepedia", but it certainly wouldn't kill me if there were one. Pranay Sobusk ~ Talk 15:53, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
