Battle of Ryloth (Clone Wars)Edit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 and Darth Trayus on May 10, 2009)

Battle of Ryloth.jpg
"The Twi'leks on that planet can't wait for long, Master. The longer the Techno Union keeps control of Ryloth, the more difficult it'll be to free them."
"I agree. We don't have much time."
―Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu[src]

The Battle of Ryloth took place in 21 BBY on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth during the Clone Wars. Seeking to steal the treasures of fellow Separatist Council member Passel Argente while claiming another victory for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor invaded the planet and executed the subjugation the Twi'lek people. Tambor's forces were met with early resistance from Galactic Republic military units and Twi'lek resistance fighters led by Jedi General Ima-Gun Di and General Cham Syndulla, respectively. With the Confederacy's annihilation of the Republic fleet defending Ryloth, supply lines to the planet were severed, leaving the Twi'lek population without food or medical supplies and the Republic forces stranded without reinforcements. Although Di and his troops were all killed, the Twi'lek freedom fighters were saved by the timely arrival of Republic relief supplies from Toydaria. After being defeated by the Confederacy at Cazne, Syndulla led his compatriots into hiding.

Finalizing defenses for his newly captured world, Emir Tambor placed Captain Mar Tuuk in command of the Confederate blockade guarding the planet and T-series tactical droid TX-20 in charge of the proton cannons in the city of Nabat, while he made headquarters for himself in the conquered capital of Lessu. After receiving pleas for assistance from Ryloth's senator, Orn Free Taa, the Jedi High Council dispatched Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to eliminate the Separatist blockade and make way for clone trooper forces from the Grand Army of the Republic to land on and liberate Ryloth. Despite heavy losses to their fleet, Skywalker and Tano were able to break the blockade, allowing Republic troop transports—commanded by High Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu—to safely enter the Ryloth system. Once Kenobi, Clone Commander CC-2224, and the Republic unit Ghost Company had destroyed Nabat's proton cannons, Windu was able to land with his transports.

En route to retake Lessu, Windu, Clone Commander CC-0411, and Lightning Squadron suffered losses in a battle with Separatist tanks, leading Windu to enlist the help of Syndulla and his freedom fighters. After Tambor began a firebombing campaign of the Twi'lek villages, Syndulla finally set aside his previous quarrels with Taa and joined forces with Windu and the Republic. Once Windu and ARF troopers Razor and Stak were able to activate Lessu's plasma bridge, the only access to the city, the combined forces of Lightning Squadron and freedom fighters entered the city and routed the Confederacy in what became known as the Battle of Lessu. Tambor's own tactical droid, TA-175, escaped with the Emir's shuttle and left him stranded, and Windu was able to capture Tambor.

Following the liberation of Lessu, Skywalker and Tano were left in command of the operations against the remaining Confederate holdouts on the planet. The two Jedi led the 501st Legion through the ruined city of Resdin, gradually clearing out the droid forces that were encamped there. During the conflict, Clone Captain CT-7567 and Clone Sergeant CS-2207 were captured by the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who was on the run after stealing the Gravitic Core, a part of Separatist scientist Kul Teska's newly developed superweapon. The clones were eventually rescued by Skywalker and Tano, but while trying to escape from Resdin, they and Bane were attacked by Teska himself, who managed to retrieve the Gravitic Core from them. Nuvo VindiEdit

(Upgraded from GA to FA by Darth Trayus on May 11, 2009)

Vindi.jpg
"One can never have too many lab rats."
―Dr. Vindi[src]

Nuvo Vindi was a male scientist employed as a medic by the Perma families until he went missing in 32 BBY. Reappearing on Naboo as a Confederacy of Independent Systems scientist during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy, he became obsessed with recreating the eradicated Blue Shadow Virus, a deadly water-borne plague which resulted in instantaneous death and had no known cure.

In 21 BBY, Vindi was not only able to re-engineer the virus, but also create an airborne strain he planned to release in key Republic star systems. His plot was discovered by Naboo politicians Senator Padmé Amidala and Representative Jar Jar Binks, who then contacted the Jedi Order for assistance. Vindi's laboratory was attacked shortly thereafter by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Knight Anakin Skywalker, Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and the clone troopers of the 501st Legion. The virus was released during the resulting battle, but a cure was quickly found by Kenobi and Skywalker on the planet Iego, negating the threat. Vindi was then taken to the galactic capital Coruscant for trial. (Read more…)

Lok DurdEdit

(Taken to FA by Kilson on May 15, 2009)

LokDurd.jpg
"I am General Lok Durd of the Separatist Alliance. You are now under the protection of the Separatist Alliance. I congratulate you on your good fortune."
―Lok Durd[src]

General Lok Durd was a male Neimoidian weapons developer in the Separatist Droid Army who served in the Clone Wars. During the war, he created an experimental defoliator, an artillery radiation weapon that could theoretically completely wipe out any organic matter while leaving machinery unharmed. Durd planned to do an experiment of the weapon on the planet of Maridun upon his discovery of a small Lurmen colony there. After landing on the planet and setting up a base camp, Durd tested the defoliator on a pair of battle droids successfully. He then tried to use the weapon on the colony to impress Count Dooku, the leader of the Separatist movement. However, he was interrupted by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, his Togruta apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and Twi'lek Jedi Knight Aayla Secura, who had crash landed on the planet prior to Durd's arrival. Using shield generators they had captured from the Separatist base camp, the Jedi were able to block Durd's defoliator by surrounding the Lurmen village with a deflector shield, and Durd was captured by the Jedi following a brief battle. Raid on Ziro the Hutt's Coruscant clubEdit

(Upgraded from GA to FA by JMAS on June 15, 2009)

Ziro captured.jpg
"We've secured the Hutt location, sir. Senator Amidala's unharmed and she's returning to the Senate with her protocol droid. We have Lord Ziro in custody. He's claiming he was forced into the kidnapping of Jabba's son by Count Dooku. Zero casualties—unless you count droids, of course."
―Clone Commander Fox, reporting the successful hostage extraction[src]

The raid on Ziro the Hutt's Coruscant club took place on the galactic capital of Coruscant during the Clone Wars. Senator Padmé Amidala informed her protocol droid, C-3PO, that she had been captured and detained at Ziro the Hutt's palace for discovering the Hutt's affiliation with Count Dooku, leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The droid contacted the Coruscant Guard, who sent a team, led by Clone Commander Fox, to storm the palace with the primary objective of rescuing the senator.

The raid saw the successful rescue of Amidala and the capture of Ziro. Through the use of Ziro's comm equipment, contact was also reestablished with Jabba the Hutt, who had been ignoring communications from the Republic during this time due to his mistaken belief that the Republic intended to wipe out his entire clan. This contact allowed Amidala to prove that the Republic was not plotting against Jabba by exposing Ziro's hand in the true plot against him, masterminded by Dooku. Assured of the Republic's innocence, Jabba agreed to a treaty between the Republic and his clan, allowing Republic forces safe passage through Hutt Space, giving them access to the Outer Rim Territories, which had been cut off by the Separatists. Battle of AbregadoEdit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on June 20, 2009)

Battle of Abregado.jpg
"And we have had no further contact with General Plo Koon. The absence of distress beacons indicates that his fleet was…that his fleet was destroyed, like the others. We are about to prepare a rescue mission."
―Anakin Skywalker, to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and the Jedi High Council[src]

The Battle of Abregado was a space battle that took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. Following the defeat of Jedi General Ares Nune's task force in the Phu system at the hands of the Confederate warship Malevolence, High Jedi General Plo Koon of the Galactic Republic took several Venator-class Star Destroyers to find and destroy the ship. Koon tracked the Malevolence to the Abregado system, but the warship attacked his fleet with its ion cannons, and the Star Destroyers were left defenseless. Shortly before the cruisers fell to turbolaser fire, several clone troopers managed to flee in escape pods, and Koon escaped in a pod with Clone Commander Wolffe, Clone Sergeant Sinker and trooper Boost.

Dooku dispatched several boarding craft with rocket battle droids to eliminate the survivors, as he did not want the survivors to inform the Republic of the Malevolence. Only Koon and the three clones in his pod were able to defeat the battle droids who came in search of survivors. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, soon arrived in the system aboard Skywalker's personal ship, the Twilight, and they rescued Koon and the clones. The Twilight encountered the Malevolence, but the Jedi and clones successfully evaded a wave from the warship's ion cannons by jumping to hyperspace. Their escape brought the knowledge of the nature of the weapon to the Republic. (Read more…)

KatuunkoEdit

(Taken to FA by Darth Trayus on July 1, 2009)

Katuunkoprofile.jpg
"You have my faith. Toydaria would be honored to host a Republic base. My people are at your service."
―Katuunko to Jedi Master Yoda[src]

Katuunko was a male Toydarian who ruled as the king of the planet Toydaria prior to the rise of the Galactic Empire. During the Clone Wars, Katuunko was contacted by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Galactic Republic, who requested that the Grand Army of the Republic be permitted to use Toydaria as a supply base and staging ground in their war against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Katuunko proposed negotiations between himself and a Republic envoy to take place on Rugosa, a neutral moon near the Toydaria. The Chancellor agreed, and at the king's request, Palpatine also consented to send a Jedi to take part in the negotiations.

On Rugosa, King Katuunko and the Toydarian royal delegation were greeted not only by the Jedi, but by Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress of the Confederacy as well. While Ventress proposed an alliance between the king and the Confederacy, the Jedi Order's Grand Master Yoda and several clone troopers were forced to land on the moon in an escape pod after their ship was attacked by Confederate frigates. Although Ventress claimed the attack was proof of the Confederacy's superiority, Katuunko still wished to meet with Master Yoda, and so agreed to a challenge set forth by Ventress. If her troops were able to capture Yoda before he could reach the King, Toydaria would join the Confederacy; however, if Yoda managed to evade Ventress and her droids, the king would pledge his alliance to the Republic.

While Katuunko remained alongside Ventress, Yoda and his small force of clone troopers trekked across the coral moon, combating and evading the Confederate droid forces. The Toydarian became increasingly disturbed with Ventress's tactics and dishonesty, and eventually rejected the Confederacy's offer, leading to an assassination attempt at the hands of the Dark Jedi. Luckily for Katuunko, the Grand Master and his clone troopers succeeded in their mission, arriving at the King's location just in time to prevent his assassination. The grateful Katuunko then promised his unwavering service to the Republic shortly before departing Rugosa alongside Master Yoda. (Read more…)

Slick (clone trooper)Edit

Slick.jpg
"It's the Jedi who keep my brothers enslaved. We do your bidding. We serve at your whim. I just wanted something more."
―Slick berates the Jedi[src]

"Slick" was the nickname of a clone trooper sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He began to develop a hatred for his Jedi commanding officers, believing that he and his fellow clone brothers were acting as the Jedi's puppets. In 21 BBY, Slick betrayed the Galactic Republic and began to pass inside information to the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After the Confederacy invaded the planet of Christophsis, Slick accompanied a faction of Republic forces under the command of Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to liberate the planet from the Confederate oppression.

On Christophsis, Slick led his platoon on a reconnaissance of a strategical location for an ambush on the Confederate battle droids, and after returning to the Republic base, Slick informed Ventress and the Confederate General Whorm Loathsom of the Republic's plan. The Confederacy was able to ambush the Republic forces, and Kenobi and Skywalker went to search for information in Confederacy-held territory while Clone Captain CT-7567 and Clone Commander CC-2224—nicknamed Rex and Cody, respectively—stayed to find the possible Republic traitor. In the clones' following interrogation of Slick's men, Slick was revealed to be the Confederate spy, and after the traitor severely damaged the Republic base's weapons depot, Rex and Cody engaged him in a brawl. Slick was apprehended, and when Skywalker and Kenobi returned, the traitorous clone was taken to lock-up. (Read more…)

Nala SeEdit

(Taken to FA by Darth Trayus on July 8, 2009)

Nala Se.jpg
Medic: "If they reach us in time, do you really think they are going to stop that thing?"
Se: "It is our only hope."
―A Kaliida Shoals clone medic and Nala Se[src]

Nala Se was a female Kaminoan who lived during the Clone Wars. During the conflict, Se worked out of the Republic's secret Kaliida Shoals Medical Center, a space station in the Outer Rim intended to facilitate the rehabilitation of wounded clone troopers. Around 21 BBY, General Grievous, who had recently begun to attack Republic forces with the Confederate superweapon Malevolence, was directed by the Confederate Head of State Count Dooku to destroy the Kaliida Shoals Center, as it was the only medical facility for the treatment of injured clone troopers.

Grievous' attack on the medcenter was anticipated by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who made preparations for a strike against the Malevolence while Se began the evacuation of Kaliida Shoals. To her dismay, she was unable to remove many clones from the center. Even with the arrival of the Malevolence, Se refused to flee the station and leave her patients behind. However, Skywalker and the Republic's Shadow Squadron arrived and engaged the Malevolence, which was forced to retreat before it could damage the station.

Nala Se would later be transferred to a medical station near the planet of Ord Cestus, where she would serve alongside High Jedi General Kit Fisto. In the aftermath of a second battle on Geonosis, the station was designated to be the source of much-needed medical supplies for General Mace Windu's forces on Dantooine. However, the clones aboard the Pelta-class frigate TB-73, which was to retrieve the supplies, had been infected by mind-controlling parasites from the Geonosian battlefront. Upon emerging from hyperspace, the out-of-control frigate ran the risk of either colliding with the medical station or docking to spread the disease, but was stopped due to the efforts of Fisto and Jedi Padawans Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee. Battle of ChristophsisEdit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on July 20, 2009)

Battle of Christophsis.jpg
"I told you this victory was too easy. We never should have sent the ship back for supplies."
"It wasn't my idea to send the ship back."
"All right, men, second wave incoming."
"Rex, you and your men follow me."
"Cody, battle positions!"
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker argue while preparing for battle — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

The Battle of Christophsis took place at the planet Christophsis in the second year of the Clone Wars. Seeking to gain control of the strategic world's resources, the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Droid Army, led by General Whorm Loathsom, invaded and seized Christophsis. Responding to a plea for help from the world's inhabitants, the Galactic Republic and the Jedi High Council dispatched Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and Admiral Wullf Yularen with a clone trooper contingent from the Grand Army of the Republic to liberate Christophsis. After penetrating Confederate Admiral Trench's massive naval blockade of the planet and delivering supplies to Senator Bail Prestor Organa's refugee camp on the surface via an experimental stealth ship, the Republic forces attempted to ambush the Confederate battle droid army from two towers in one of the plazas of the capital city, Crystal City. Acting on information from one of its spies, Clone Sergeant Slick, the Separatists foiled the Republic's attack. Despite the turn of events, the Jedi and clones managed to escape and retreated back to their base.

Alerted to the possibility of a spy amongst their men, Skywalker and Kenobi went to search for more information behind enemy lines while Clone Commander CC-2224 and Clone Captain CT-7567—nicknamed "Cody" and "Rex," respectively—stayed at the base to root out the agent. Upon arriving at the Confederacy base, Skywalker and Kenobi confronted the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress and discovered the presence of an invasion force in far greater strength than they had originally believed. Back at the Republic base, Slick was revealed to be the spy and sabotaged the Republic's weapons depot, destroying most of the Republic's supplies, before being apprehended by Rex and Cody. Raising the stakes with its full strength, the main body of Confederate troops launched an assault on the Republic forces. After several days, the Separatists were forced to retreat. When Loathsom mounted a second assault, his forces' advance was halted by the Republic's heavy cannons, and he and his droids pulled back to their base to set up a deflector shield to counter the Republic's artillery.

Yularen and the Republic fleet were driven away from Christophsis by the renewed Separatist blockade of the planet, but Skywalker's newly assigned Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, was able to land on the world. Loathsom and the Confederacy mounted yet another assault, this time advancing behind their shield, which effectively negated the clone artillery. While Kenobi, Rex, and 501st Legion troops defended the heavy cannons, Skywalker and Tano proceeded to sabotage the Confederacy's shield generator. After Kenobi pretended to surrender to Loathsom to gain time for his comrades to complete their mission, Skywalker and Tano were able to eliminate the shield. Yularen returned to the Christoph system with Jedi Grand Master Yoda and a fortified fleet and broke through the Separatist blockade, driving the enemy armada away from Christophsis. In addition, the Republic's renewed artillery usage proved instrumental in annihilating the Separatists in Crystal City. Kenobi captured Loathsom, and the Republic emerged victorious and landed further reinforcements to secure the victory. (Read more…)

Battle of Bothawui (Clone Wars)Edit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on July 24, 2009)

Battle of Bothawui TCW.jpg
"Do the Bothans know what Grievous plans? They must. They're Bothans. But why haven't they told us, why haven't they—"
"They don't know. There's a good chance I'm the only one who does. Me and my source. And now you. It was an accident she found out. And she only risked telling me to pay back a life debt. Obi-Wan… You Jedi can't let Grievous get his metal hands on Bothawui."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi learns of General Grievous's impending invasion of Bothawui from Dexter Jettster[src]

The Battle of Bothawui was a space battle that took place around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars. After learning that the Confederate General Grievous was planning to invade the planet of Bothawui, the Jedi High Council dispatched Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and a fleet of three newly constructed Venator-class Star Destroyers to blockade the Both system in preparation of Grievous's arrival. Accompanied by his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, as well as a unit of clone troopers, Skywalker engaged Grievous several times before arriving at Bothawui.

Clone Captain CT-7567 took multiple AT-TE walkers to the planet's asteroid belt, intending to attack Grievous's frigates from the rear once they passed by. The Confederate general arrived in the system, and Skywalker led the starfighter unit Gold Squadron in his Delta-7B fighter. After the Confederate fleet went through the asteroid belt and passed by the walkers, the AT-TEs opened fire, crippling the frigates. Grievous attempted to escape in his personal fighter; and, as Skywalker and his astromech droid R2-D2 gave pursuit, the Jedi's fighter was damaged by flying debris. CT-7567 was able to save Skywalker, but R2-D2 was salvaged by the Trandoshan scavenger Gha Nachkt. (Read more…)

Battle of TethEdit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on August 9, 2009)

Attecliff.jpg
"Kidnapped, Jabba the Hutt's son has been. Negotiate the treaty with Jabba, Obi-Wan will. Find the renegades who hold Jabba's son, your mission will be, Skywalker."
―Master Yoda informs Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano of their new mission[src]

The Battle of Teth took place in 21 BBY on the planet Teth during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Seeking to gain safe passage through Hutt Space, Count Dooku and the Confederacy kidnapped Rotta, son of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, intending to frame the Jedi Order for the crime. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his recently apprenticed Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, were assigned to retrieve Rotta in order to win the crime lord's favor for safe passage through Hutt Space. Skywalker and Tano ventured to the B'omarr Order Monastery on Teth—where the Huttlet had been located by Republic scouts—with clone troopers of Torrent Company, while Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi negotiated with Jabba on the crime lord's home planet of Tatooine.

Unable to land at the Teth monastery because of the presence of battle droids guarding it, Skywalker's and Tano's forces were deployed in the jungle below and commenced a vertical assault up the cliff holding the monastery using two AT-TE walkers. After Skywalker and Tano had defeated the droids and retrieved the Huttlet, Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress led several more Confederate units on a renewed assault of the monastery, and the Republic forces were forced to barricade themselves inside the stronghold. The two Jedi went to find a secondary exit to escape the monastery, hoping to find medical support for the Huttlet, while Clone Captain CT-7567, nicknamed "Rex," stayed to command Torrent Company.

Ventress and her forces managed to enter the monastery, and all but six clone troopers—including Rex—were taken captive. With the help of the astromech droid R2-D2, Skywalker and Tano located a rear exit in the monastery and confronted Ventress herself before escaping Teth in an old freighter. However, the Jedi were forced to continue directly to Tatooine in the ship, as the main hangar of the Venator-class Star Destroyer Spirit of the Republic was severely damaged by Confederate Vulture droids, preventing them from boarding. Meanwhile, Kenobi arrived on Teth with reinforcements, in the form of Ghost Squadron and several LAAT/i gunships. Kenobi also dueled with Ventress, and the Dark Acolyte escaped after she discovered that Skywalker had left the system for Tatooine. With the reinforcements, the Republic forces were able to defeat the Confederacy. (Read more…)

Gha NachktEdit

(Taken to FA by Darth tom on August 10, 2009)

Gha Nachkt.jpg
"More than my fee. This droid is worth more, I get paid more. I suggest—"
―Gha Nachkt's last words — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Gha Nachkt was a Trandoshan male who owned the freighter Vulture's Claw during the Clone Wars. He scavenged the remains and leftover debris from battles for items he could sell to either of the two fighting factions, the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. Although Nachkt was not allied with either organization in the war, he dealt with the Confederacy on numerous occasions, working with Wat Tambor, a member of the Separatist Council—the legislative branch of the Confederacy. Anticipating that an adversary of his, the Koorivar Passel Argente, was planning on buying a spy droid from Nachkt, Tambor hired the Trandoshan to instead sell Argente a spy droid planted by Tambor. After the Battle of Bothawui, he found R2-D2, an astromech droid belonging to the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, and resolved to sell the droid to the Confederate General Grievous.

When Argente arrived on the Vulture's Claw to buy a droid to spy on Tambor, Nachkt sold Tambor's planted droid to Argente, receiving credits from both parties. When Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, saw the Vulture's Claw on the battlefield, they came onboard to search for R2-D2. The scavenger hid the droid from them and claimed that he had not found any astromech droids in the wake of the battle. After Skywalker and Tano left, Nachkt traveled to the Separatist listening post Skytop Station to give the droid to Grievous. When the Trandoshan arrived at the station, he was instructed by Grievous to take the droid apart and extract whatever information the droid carried. Nachkt, however, found that R2-D2 contained more important information than he had originally thought, and demanded more payment from Grievous. In retribution, Grievous stabbed Nachkt, killing the Trandoshan. (Read more…)

Mission to RugosaEdit

(Upgraded from GA to FA by CC7567 on August 11, 2009)

Mission to Rugosa.jpg
"Retreat, you must. On the moon below is my mission. There, I must go."
―Yoda, to Captain Zak[src]

The mission to Rugosa was an operation that took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. The Galactic Republic and the Jedi High Council sought to build a base in the Outer Rim Territories for further combat against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and Grand Master Yoda was dispatched with a convoy of clone troopers to the coral moon of Rugosa to engage in diplomatic negotiations with Katuunko, the king of Toydaria. However, the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress arrived first to negotiate with Katuunko on behalf of the Confederacy and its Head of State, Count Dooku. The Republic convoy was ambushed by several Confederate frigates, but Yoda was able to land on the moon in an escape pod with several clones.

Ventress posed a challenge for the Jedi: she would send her best battle droid forces to capture him, and if he defeated the droids, Toydaria would be given reason to ally with the Republic. Should Yoda fail, Toydaria would join the Confederacy. Yoda accepted the terms, and he and the clone shock troopers Lieutenant CC-4477, nicknamed "Thire," Jek, and Rys separately fought the droids. The three clones defeated a squad of B1 battle droids, but Yoda arrived to rescue the clones from a group of oncoming B2 super battle droids. After escaping, the four took refuge in a cave, where the Jedi Master imparted his wisdom upon the clones to inspire their efforts.

Yoda proceeded to defeat several Confederate droid squads and three Armored Assault Tanks single-handedly, and Ventress broke the terms of the competition, dispatching droideka reinforcements to eliminate the Jedi. Thire launched a rocket and caused an avalanche, however, crushing the droids. With the Confederacy's attempt at a treaty foiled, Dooku ordered his apprentice through a hololink to assassinate Katuunko. Yoda and the clones arrived in time to stop the assassination, and Ventress was forced to activate pre-planted explosives to cause a rockfall and escape. Yoda was able to stop the rubble, and Katuunko promised Toydaria's service to the Republic, before departing aboard an LAAT/i gunship with the Republic diplomatic forces. (Read more…)

Battle of the Kaliida NebulaEdit

Battle of Kaliida.JPG
"While our capital ships are vulnerable to the enemy's attack, I believe a squad of bombers can outmaneuver their ion weapon. Our target will be the bridge…and General Grievous."
―Anakin Skywalker, to Shadow Squadron[src]

This space battle took place near the Kaliida Nebula around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. Shortly after the Galactic Republic's discovery of the Confederate warship Malevolence, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker developed a plan to attack the warship and its commander, General Grievous. Confederate Head of State Count Dooku ordered Grievous to target the Republic's secret Outer Rim medical center, and the Malevolence's eradication of a Republic medical convoy in the Ryndellia system identified the warship's quarry to the Republic. Skywalker planned to intercept the ship, accompanied by his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, as well as High Jedi General Plo Koon.

Skywalker arrived at the medical station via a shortcut through the nebula with the starfighter unit Shadow Squadron, and engaged Vulture droids launched from the Malevolence. Suffering losses from the warship's ion cannons, Skywalker led his squadron to attack the vessel's starboard cannon. When the Malevolence attempted to use the damaged weapon on the medical center, the cannon exploded, causing further damage to the ship. Admiral Wullf Yularen and Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived with several Venator-class Star Destroyers and engaged the fleeing Malevolence, which was unable to retreat to hyperspace because of damage to its hyperdrive.

Dooku's Sith Master, Darth Sidious, used his alter ego as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to trick Senator Padmé Amidala into traveling to the nebula, where Grievous could use her as a hostage and escape. Amidala arrived in the system and was pulled aboard the Malevolence. Skywalker and Kenobi arrived on the warship via Skywalker's personal ship, the Twilight, and rescued Amidala. Kenobi attempted to cause further damage to the warship's hyperdrive, but was confronted by Grievous and forced to engage the cyborg general in lightsaber combat before escaping. Skywalker and Amidala sabotaged the ship's navigation computer, and the group returned to the Republic fleet. When the Malevolence attempted to jump to hyperspace, it crashed into a nearby moon, and Grievous retreated. (Read more…)

Fil HS.jpg
"Bel, Niner…watch after the ship."

―Commander Fil, to Niner and Bel — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

CC-3714, nicknamed "Fil," was a veteran clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic who was assigned to recently promoted Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, he led a squad of clone troopers on a mission to the third moon of Vassek, in the Outer Rim Territories. Accompanied by Vebb and Jedi Master Kit Fisto, the group searched for Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray, who had been recently freed from Republic captivity. Unbeknownst to the group, Gunray, along with Confederate Head of State Count Dooku, had laid a trap for the Jedi, using a homing beacon to deceive the Jedi and make them believe that Gunray was hiding in a castle on the moon.

After the group realized that they had fallen for a trap, the Confederate General Grievous arrived at the castle, which was in fact his personal retreat. The Jedi and clone troopers tried to capture Grievous, but after a short brawl with the Republic squad, the cyborg general fled to the stronghold's secret command center. After Grievous opened a molten incinerator pit trap, which was under Fil and the Jedi, the cyborg general released his pet roggwart, Gor, to attack them. Fil was caught by the beast, which used its tail to grab the commander. The Jedi tried to free him, but Fil was killed when Gor slammed the clone on the ground. Vebb was later murdered at the hands of Grievous, leaving Fisto as the only survivor of the mission.(Read more…)

The Senate hostage crisis occurred around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars when the Hutt Grand Council hired the bounty hunter Cad Bane to organize a raid on the Republic Executive Building aimed at capturing members of the Galactic Senate. Bane sought to force Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to issue a pardon for the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure, who had previously been arrested and imprisoned in the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center for his role in the Confederacy of Independent Systems' kidnapping of his great-nephew, Rotta. Bane formed a team of bounty hunters that included the Jedi hunter Aurra Sing, the Weequay Shahan Alama, and the Patrolian technician Robonino, along with several Confederate droids. After testing his team by pitting them against fellow bounty hunter Davtokk, Bane deemed his accomplices ready for their mission.

Infiltrating the Executive Building and disposing of multiple Senate Commando guards along the way, the team took a small group of senators hostage. Bane trapped Palpatine and Senator Orn Free Taa in the Chancellor's office by having Robonino shut down the building's power. Bane then issued an ultimatum to the Supreme Chancellor: Ziro was to be released, or the senators would be executed. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was still in the building, though unarmed, and was knocked out and captured by the hunters. To secure the Hutt's release in exchange for the senators' lives, Bane ordered Taa to take a pardon disc to the Detention Center to release Ziro.

Taa reluctantly complied and was escorted to the prison by the sentinel droid HELIOS-3D. As final leverage against Palpatine, the bounty hunters set up a system of lasers around the senators that would trigger explosives with the slightest touch before leaving the building. Clone troopers of the Coruscant Guard led by Clone Commander CC-1010 arrived to apprehend Bane's team on the landing platform, but the still-trapped senators allowed the bounty hunters to escape with Ziro. Although Bane remotely activated the explosives as payback for the indignities the Hutt had suffered in prison, a revived Skywalker was able to cut a hole around the senators, and all of them dropped into the room below seconds before the explosives went off. Whorm LoathsomEdit

"Unless you call off your troops right now, I will have no choice but to destroy you!"
―Whorm Loathsom, to Obi-Wan Kenobi — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Whorm Loathsom was a male Kerkoiden who hailed from the planet Kerkoidia and served both in his homeworld's planetary forces and as the general of the Retail Caucus's military forces in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. An accomplished commander, his numerous victories during the Clone Wars led him to infamy throughout the Inner Core. In 21 BBY, Loathsom captured the planet Christophsis, and the Galactic Republic dispatched Jedi-led clone trooper forces to liberate the planet. After several days of fighting, Loathsom was forced to retreat. He soon launched a counterattack, however, advancing his battle droid troops behind a deflector shield that rendered the Republic's artillery useless.

High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi pretended to surrender to the Kerkoiden in order to gain time for Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, to eliminate the shield generator. Loathsom eventually lost patience with discussing Kenobi's "terms of surrender" and threatened to kill the Jedi. After Skywalker and Tano destroyed the generator, however, Loathsom himself was captured. With his shameful defeat and capture on Christophsis, Loathsom was taken to Coruscant, where he was tried by the Republic and found guilty of treason, as his service in his Republic-aligned homeworld's planetary forces made him a member of the Republic military. Loathsom was eventually transferred from imprisonment on Akrit'tar to house arrest at a castle on Kerkoidia, from which, weeks later, he escaped captivity with the assistance of Separatist agents. EV-A4-DEdit

"Doctor, where are you?"
"Don't be upset with me, Master. If you were a better fighter, we would not be having this conversation."
―Grievous and EV-A4-D — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

EV-A4-D, also known as A4-D, was a modified EV-series supervisor droid who served the cyborg General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a medical/repair droid during the Clone Wars. As with many EV-model droids, a programming defect caused EV-A4-D to have a sadistic personality. Prior to his work with Grievous, EV-A4-D served as a supervisor in a hospital on the world of Tauber, but he was relieved from duty after ordering the medical droids under his command to operate on patients without administering painkillers. He was later purchased by the InterGalactic Banking Clan and absorbed into the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

EV-A4-D was eventually assigned to work as the personal doctor of Grievous. Stationed in Grievous's castle on the third moon of Vassek, EV-A4-D became the facility's caretaker, managing the general's residence and working to repair any damage he sustained to his cyborg body over the course of the war. Around 21 BBY, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku lured Republic forces to Grievous's castle in order to assess the general's abilities as the Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army. During the confrontation with the Republic, Grievous was heavily damaged and was repaired by EV-A4-D to be able to confront the intruders once more. EV-A4-D later separated Nahdar Vebb and Kit Fisto, the two Jedi who were leading the Republic forces, allowing Grievous to defeat Vebb. However, as EV-A4-D monitored the castle's security cameras from the control room, he was bisected and destroyed by Fisto.

The droid's body was later recovered by Grievous and reassembled. EV-A4-D then left Vassek, traveling with his master during his military campaigns serving as both doctor and advisor. EV-A4-D was present alongside Grievous during the seige of Dorin, during which he informed the general a communication from Count Dooku's assassin, Asajj Ventress. (Read more…)

Defender (Venator-class)Edit

"I decided the only way we can break the blockade is if I pilot the Defender right into their battleship and take out their commander."
"What?"
"This way, I'm the only one at risk. Besides, the Defender is damaged already."
―Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

The Defender was a Venator-class Star Destroyer that served in the Grand Army of the Republic's navy during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, the planet of Ryloth was seized by the Separatists, and a large Confederate fleet, under the command of the Neimoidian Captain Mar Tuuk, blockaded the world. The Defender was dispatched in a Republic task force under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to eliminate the Confederate blockade.

Upon the arrival of the Defender and its fellow Star Destroyers, the Resolute and the Redeemer, in the Ryloth system, Tuuk was able to lure the Republic forces into a trap. The Confederate captain's summoning of reinforcements forced the cruisers to retreat, but not before the Resolute and the Defender had sustained damage and the Redeemer was destroyed altogether. Regrouping, Skywalker devised a plan to pilot the heavily damaged Defender into Tuuk's lead ship, leaving Tano to command the Resolute and eliminate the remaining frigates in the blockade. Skywalker and his astromech droid, R2-D2, piloted the Defender into the system and put it on course before fleeing in an escape pod, and the cruiser destroyed Tuuk's ship. (Read more…)

Mission to Skytop StationEdit

Skywalker: "We believe my droid, Artoo, is still onboard. He's the one that led us here."
Kenobi: "Hmm…this complicates things. You must sneak aboard that station and destroy it, before they crack Artoo's memory banks. I know you're fond of that droid, but he's fallen into enemy hands."
Skywalker: "I could…rescue Artoo."
Kenobi: "No. This is not a rescue mission."
―Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, on R2-D2, shortly after Skywalker discovers Skytop Station — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

The mission to Skytop Station took place around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars. After Jedi General Anakin Skywalker's astromech droid, R2-D2, was lost during the Galactic Republic's defense of the planet Bothawui, the Trandoshan scavenger Gha Nachkt salvaged the droid from the planet's asteroid belt and promised him to the Confederate General Grievous in exchange for credits. Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, were issued R3-S6 as a replacement droid but were unaware that he was a spy working for Grievous.

High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi ordered Skywalker to find and destroy Skytop Station, a Confederate listening post. After discovering the station over the Ruusan moon in his personal ship, the Twilight, Skywalker learned that R2-D2 was aboard the station. Skywalker decided to rescue the droid, while Tano planted explosives around the station with a squad of clone troopers. Tano and the clones first engaged battle droids in a crossfire outside the reactor room. When Grievous arrived and attacked the group, Tano distracted the cyborg general while the remaining clones—Captain CT-7567, nicknamed Rex, as well as trooper Denal—finished the mission.

Skywalker was able to retrieve his droid from Confederate IG-100 MagnaGuards and arrived in the south landing bay to rendezvous with the Twilight. After Rex and Denal had arrived, however, R3-S6 trapped the group in the hangar and activated several Vulture droids. B2 super battle droids entered the room and engaged Skywalker and the clones. Skywalker ordered Rex to activate the explosives; and, with its anti-gravity repulsorlifts damaged, the station began to be pulled into the moon. Tano briefly confronted Grievous and arrived in the landing bay, and R2-D2 was able to open the hangar door from an external terminal; the droid also eliminated the spy droid, R3-S6. Grievous escaped in his personal fighter, and Skywalker retrieved R2-D2 in his Jedi interceptor, escaping the station with his team. (Read more…)

"It is the Republic that should be asking your forgiveness, my old friend. Far too often we forget that our most important allies are not always the most powerful."
―Onaconda Farr and Padmé Amidala — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Senator Padmé Amidala took a diplomatic mission to Rodia around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars. As the planet's supplies had been recently attacked by pirates, Amidala sought to ensure that Rodia remained allied with the Galactic Republic. Yet, Onaconda Farr, Rodia's representative in the Galactic Senate, had allied himself with Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Upon her arrival in the Senatorial Palace on Rodia, Amidala was taken captive, to be given to Gunray as part of the arrangement. After Amidala's protocol droid, C-3PO, and Representative Jar Jar Binks were attacked by battle droids in the palace hangar, Binks accidentally crushed Amidala's yacht with a magnetic hoist. Binks and C-3PO resolved to rescue Amidala from the palace's detention tower; however, when Binks found a Jedi robe in the yacht and put it on, the Confederate forces mistook him for a Jedi.

After Gunray arrived to collect Amidala, the viceroy revealed that he intended to execute her, and Farr began to mistrust the viceroy. Amidala broke out of her cell, while Binks, unaware of her escape, attempted to rescue her. C-3PO went to contact any Republic clone troopers within range for support, and Amidala engaged the Confederate droids. Binks slipped underwater, but a homing torpedo aimed at the Gungan exploded, and he was presumed dead. After contacting a nearby Republic convoy, C-3PO was arrested. As Confederate droidekas prepared to execute Amidala and C-3PO, however, Binks reappeared, and a Kwazel Maw that had befriended and saved the Gungan attacked the droids. Gunray fled, but he was apprehended by Amidala and Farr and taken into custody. Farr and Rodia remained allied to the Republic, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine dispatched relief supplies to the planet. (Read more…)

Hevy2.jpg
"Do we take prisoners?"

―Hevy's last words, responding to a battle droid — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

CT-26-6958 was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. CT-26-6958 earned the nickname of "Hevy," due to being the heavy weapons expert on the Rishi station, a listening post located on the moon of Rishi, where he and other rookie clone troopers were stationed around 21 BBY. Under the command of Sergeant O'Niner, the group of clones maintained the listening post to warn the Galactic Republic fleet of any Confederate attacks in the Outer Rim and were present during a surprise Confederate attack on the station. BX-series droid commandos took over the Rishi moon base and fortified themselves inside.

Commander Cody and Captain Rex soon arrived at the base for a routine inspection. The clone officers met up with Hevy and the remaining clone troops and organized a plan to attack the droids. Upon taking over the base, Rex ordered the destruction of the listening post, and the clones collected liquid tibanna and explosives. Noticing that the remote detonator would not respond, Hevy offered to stay behind and fix the problem, while the other clones left the base through the ventilation shaft. Hevy was soon attacked by the battle droids and was only able to destroy some of them with his Z-6 rotary blaster cannon. His success came with sacrifice, however, as he opted to manually detonate the explosives, instantly killing himself, and destroying the droids and the listening post. (Read more…)

Master Tauht.JPG
"Now this is one of my favorite things—a Jedi with nothing left to say."
―Asajj Ventress, after killing Tauht[src]

Tauht was a Human male who served as a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Along with Jedi Masters Kit Fisto and Plo Koon, he was dispatched to the Separatist-occupied planet Khorm in order to secure the world's agrocite, a valuable ore used to exceptionally increase power to starfighters. Tauht participated in the Republic's initial assault on an Agrocite processing center, which was controlled by the native Khormai Warlord Unger Gout, who had aligned himself with the Confederacy.

The Republic forces captured the plant and established a base there, although Gout managed to escape. Hoping to minimize clone trooper casualties in the next battle, Koon and Fisto left to search for a Confederate weather-control station, which supposedly controlled storms above Khorm and was preventing the Republic from employing air support. Tauht was left in charge of the Republic station, which was soon attacked by the Confederate forces commanded by the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. During the battle, Tauht and Ventress confronted each other. After a brief fight, Tauht was killed by Ventress, who used the Force to manipulate one of her lightsabers and stabbed the Jedi Master with it. (Read more…)

Skytop Station.jpg
"Most honored Count, Skytop Station is fully active! Only my contacts in the communications cartel could make such a marvel possible."
Po Nudo to Count Dooku[src]

Skytop Station was a Confederate listening post during the Clone Wars. A modified Lucrehulk-class Core Ship, the station was designed to monitor Republic communications, thereby providing the Confederate Droid Army with vital intelligence on the movement of enemy fleets. Skytop Station was built and crewed by the Hyper-Communications Cartel, a business group formed by Confederate leader Po Nudo. It was stationed in the upper atmosphere of one of the moons of Ruusan.

Once construction was completed, Skytop Station began to intercept Republic HoloNet transmissions, providing the Confederacy with intelligence on the movement of Republic fleets. Following the Battle of Bothawui, High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi tasked Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, with finding and destroying the station. The two discovered Skytop Station's location after receiving a distress call from the captured Republic droid R2-D2, who was being taken to the station to be delivered to the Confederate General Grievous. Skywalker and Tano traveled to the station and infiltrated it alongside members of the Grand Army of the Republic's 501st Legion with the intent to rescue R2-D2 and destroy the listening post. Despite Grievous's efforts to thwart the Republic forces, Skywalker and his companions were able to disable Skytop Station's reactor and repulsorlift generators, causing the core ship to fall from the sky. "Gunray's capture could be a serious threat to us, my friend. The viceroy will not last long under Jedi interrogation."
"I have already put a plan into action, my Lord. My best agent, Asajj Ventress, will infiltrate the Jedi ship, and either free Gunray, or silence him."
―Darth Sidious and Darth Tyranus — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

The Confederacy of Independent Systems launched a mission around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars to free Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray, who had been captured on Rodia by the Galactic Republic. Gunray was being taken in the Star Destroyer Tranquility to Coruscant for trial by Jedi General Luminara Unduli, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, Clone Commander CC-1004, nicknamed "Gree," and Senate Commando Captain Faro Argyus. However, the latter was a long-time ally of Count Dooku, and had been paid to participate in freeing the viceroy. As the Jedi began interrogating Gunray aboard the Tranquility, Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress took a boarding party of Vulture droids and several boarding craft to the Republic warship.

Once battle droids had boarded the Star Destroyer and attacked Unduli and clone troopers of Green Company, Ventress planted explosives in the vessel's engine room before confronting Tano outside of Gunray's cell. After Unduli arrived with Commander Gree on the detention level, Ventress activated her explosives, crippling the entire ship. Ventress escaped, and while Unduli instructed Tano to stay and guard Gunray, the Jedi Master pursued the Dark Acolyte to the engine room. Tano disobeyed Unduli's orders and proceeded to assist Unduli in her duel against Ventress, however. Meanwhile, Argyus betrayed the Republic and freed Gunray. The captain engaged Gree in close combat, but Gunray managed to sneak up behind the clone commander and knocked him out with a blaster. Argyus and Gunray then stole a Republic frigate and escaped from the Tranquility, while Ventress joined them, jettisoning from the Star Destroyer in an escape pod to the fleeing vessel. (Read more…)

"You sing a song of a legend. I'm just a soldier, Gobi."
―Cham Syndulla[src]

Cham Syndulla was a revolutionary male Twi'lek from the planet Ryloth who formed and led the Twi'lek freedom fighters during the Clone Wars. Before the war, Syndulla, a member of his planet's nobility, opposed both the Galactic Republic and its Ryloth Senator, Orn Free Taa, believing Taa to be uncaring of the fate of the Twi'lek people. After the Clone Wars had begun, the Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded Ryloth. Reluctant to take power but wanting the best for his people, Syndulla formed the freedom fighters to combat the oppression and launched a campaign against the Separatist Droid Army. However, Syndulla and his forces were forced to retreat from the battlefield, and his fighters set up camp in the remains of several fallen droid vehicles on the plains of Cazne.

Syndulla's leadership qualities led his friend and minstrel, Gobi Glie, to compose a song about him, though Syndulla was opposed to the ballad's exaggeration of his traits. After Jedi Master Mace Windu arrived with Republic forces to liberate Ryloth, Syndulla resolved his issues with Taa and the Republic and entered into an alliance with them. During the ensuing assault on Ryloth's capital of Lessu to free the city from Separatist control, Syndulla led the combined forces of his freedom fighters and the Republic unit Lightning Squadron to besiege the captured city, and he was eventually able to liberate his homeworld from the Confederacy. The Tranquility was a Venator-class Star Destroyer in the service of the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, the Star Destroyer was dispatched to Rodia in the aftermath of Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray's capture by the Republic. Alongside Senior Jedi General Luminara Unduli, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, a contingent of the Grand Army of the Republic's 41st Elite Legion, and a division of Senate Commandos, the Tranquility was to transport Gunray from Rodia to the Republic capital of Coruscant, where he would stand trial for war crimes.

Just as the Tranquility began its journey, it was accosted by Confederate Vulture droid starfighters and Droch-class boarding ships. Despite the efforts of the Star Destroyer's gunners, the boarding ships were able to pierce the Tranquility's hull, deploying super battle droids alongside Asajj Ventress, a Confederate assassin tasked with freeing Gunray from Republic captivity. Although the Republic forces aboard the Tranquility were able to repel the battle droids, Ventress crippled the Star Destroyer by setting off explosives within its main reactor room. This, in addition to the betrayal of a member of the Senate Commandos, allowed Gunray to escape the detention level, flee the Tranquility, and return to Confederate space. After a lightsaber duel in the destroyed reactor room, Ventress escaped the Tranquility as well aboard one of its escape pods, joining the fleeing Gunray and leaving the Jedi and Republic Navy with a heavily damaged Star Destroyer. "But in this war, strength prevails. The rules have changed."

―Nahdar Vebb and Kit Fisto — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Nahdar Vebb was a male Mon Calamari who served as a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. Vebb was the Padawan of Jedi Master Kit Fisto prior to the Clone Wars, but with the outbreak of the war, Fisto became a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic and was unable to see Vebb's apprenticeship through to the end. Sometime around the beginning of the war, Vebb completed his training in his Master's absence and ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight. With the war still raging, Vebb joined the Republic's forces as a Jedi healer.

Around 21 BBY, Viceroy Nute Gunray, a leading member of the Separatist Council, escaped Republic captivity and stole a Republic frigate to flee. Vebb, Clone Commander Fil, and a group of clone troopers tracked the stolen vessel to the third moon of Vassek in the hopes of recapturing Gunray. Shortly after arriving, Vebb and the clones were met by the Mon Calamari's former Master, Kit Fisto, who had also been trailing Gunray. On the moon the Jedi and clones discovered a large fortress, and after continuing investigations inside the castle, they realized that they had been lured to the moon by Confederate Head of State Count Dooku as a test for General Grievous, the Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army and a notorious Jedi hunter.

Vebb and the others discovered that they were inside Grievous's lair and planned to engage and capture the cyborg general, but upon his return, Grievous killed most of the clones and escaped from Vebb, Fisto, and Fil. The three were trapped in the castle, and with Fil's death at the hands of the general's pet roggwart, Gor, Vebb became increasingly angered and aggressive. When he saw an opportunity to kill Grievous, Vebb acted against Fisto's orders and dueled the general. The Mon Calamari was slain by Grievous, but Fisto managed to retrieve Vebb's lightsaber from the general before escaping. (Read more…)

A battle was fought circa 21 BBY on the planet Kadavo during the Clone Wars. Having occupied the Togruta's colony world of Kiros, the Confederacy of Independent Systems secretly transferred the world's entire population to the planet Zygerria, where the Togrutas were to be sold as slaves at an auction. A Galactic Republic task force led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and Skywalker's Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, liberated Kiros and discovered links leading to Zygerria. The Jedi and Clone Captain CT-7567 soon infiltrated the auction and tried to rescue the Togrutas but were captured by the Zygerrians and enslaved.

Skywalker and his Padawan, however, escaped from the Zygerrians and headed for Kadavo to rescue Kenobi, CT-7567, and the Togrutas, who had been transferred to the Zygerrian Labor Processing Hub on the planet. Fearing that the liberation of the slaves could prove him a liar—as he had spread word that the Jedi had eradicated Kiros's population—the Confederate leader Count Dooku sent his assassin, Asajj Ventress, alongside General Grievous, to kill everyone at the Kadavo facility.

After both the Republic and the Confederate forces arrived at Kadavo, a battle ensued on and above the planet. While Grievous's fleet battled the Republic Venator-class Star Destroyers, Ventress led a squadron of Hyena-class bombers to destroy the Labor Processing Hub. Hoping that the Separatists would spare him if he killed the Togrutas himself, the facility head—the Keeper—tried to dump the slaves into the lava but was prevented from doing so by Kenobi and CT-7567. Soon, Republic reinforcements arrived, forcing the Confederate fleet to retreat. Ventress, however, chose to continue the fight alone and made a last ditch attempt to kill the Jedi with her starship, the Trident, but was repelled by the Republic V-19 Torrent starfighters. Having won the battle, the Republic returned the people of Kiros back to their home. (Read more…)

Jedi Master Kit Fisto, Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb, and a squad of clone troopers undertook a mission around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars to recapture Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray, who had recently escaped from Republic custody. However, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku, displeased with General Grievous's recent failures in the war, used a Republic homing beacon to lure the Jedi and clones to the general's castle on the third moon of Vassek as a test for Grievous. Gunray deceived the Jedi and troopers through a holotransmission, and once they uncovered the ploy, Dooku contacted the Republic agents and put them on the trail of the "alternative prize" of Grievous.

The Jedi and their troops set a trap for Grievous and confronted the cyborg general once he arrived. However, Grievous was able to eliminate several clone troopers, and after sustaining injuries, escape to the castle's secret command center. Sealing off the exits, the Confederate general trapped the Jedi and clones inside his castle. While Grievous was repaired by his caretaker droid, the general pitted the Jedi and the remaining clones against the castle's defenses—a molten incinerator pit and the general's pet roggwart, Gor. The clones were killed, but the Jedi were able to eliminate Gor. As Grievous resolved to personally confront the Jedi, Fisto and Vebb infiltrated the castle's command center. Vebb remained outside, however, and fought Grievous himself, but was killed by the general. After Fisto dueled Grievous on the castle's outer platform, the Jedi Master was able to escape. "It's all this...destruction, master. The Togruta are my people. To watch their way of life, all they built over generations laid to waste in one day isn't easy."
―Ahsoka Tano[src]

During the Clone Wars, the Togrutan colony planet of Kiros was contested by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. Around 21 BBY, the Republic received word that Kiros—which had remained neutral throughout the course of the war—was being invaded by Confederate forces. The Republic sent help to the Togrutas. However, by the time the Republic troops arrived, the Confederacy had already occupied Kiros's capital and secretly transferred the entire population of Kiros to the planet Zygerria, where they were to be sold as slaves. The Republic forces—led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker—fought through the capital, only to discover that the whole planet's population had disappeared.

The Separatist commander, Xerius Ugg, revealed that he had planted thermal bombs throughout the capital and demanded the Republic troops surrender, or he would detonate them. Hoping to buy some time for Skywalker to find the explosives, Kenobi engaged Ugg in a duel. After Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano had successfully disarmed the bombs, Ugg still refused to surrender, and Kenobi was forced to kill him. Looking for some information regarding the missing population of Kiros, the Jedi analyzed Ugg's transmitter records, which indicated that the commander had been talking to someone in the Zygerrian system. With Kiros liberated, the Jedi set off to gain more intelligence from Zygerrian slavers. (Read more…)

This skirmish took place over and on the planet Vanqor around 21 BBY when the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order attempted to capture Confederate Head of State Count Dooku. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker allowed himself to be taken prisoner aboard Dooku's frigate while in an ice field and High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi infiltrated the Confederate vessel when it was later in space over Vanqor, freeing his companion. Skywalker and Kenobi stole a transport shuttle and pursued the Count, but both the Jedi and Sith's ships were damaged and forced to crash-land on Vanqor. While Dooku trapped the Jedi in a cave and managed to escape, Skywalker and Kenobi fought and defeated a gundark before accidentally releasing noxious gas while trying to unblock the exit from the cave. "I don't believe in chance, Commander. I know if we work together, we will stay alive, and someone will find us."
―Wolffe and Plo Koon[src]

CC-3636, nicknamed "Wolffe," was a veteran clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic who served with Jedi General Plo Koon during the Clone Wars. The leader of the 104th Battalion's famed Wolfpack squad, Commander Wolffe proved to be tireless in his efforts against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In 21 BBY, Wolffe served with Koon on board the Jedi Master's flagship, the Triumphant, when Koon led a task force to eliminate the Separatist warship Malevolence. While confronting the Malevolence in the Abregado system, however, all of the Wolfpack was eliminated, save for Koon, Wolffe, and troopers Sinker and Boost. The four were eventually rescued by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, and Wolffe had his unit adopt new clone trooper armor in honor of his fallen comrades.

Wolffe later participated in the Battle of Khorm alongside Generals Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht, as well as Major Kendal Ozzel; Wolffe's loyalty to the Jedi frequently put him at odds with the ambitious Ozzel. Though Wolffe lost his right eye in a fight with the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress, the Republic was able to defeat the Separatists, liberating the Confederacy's Khormai slaves and securing the planet's repositories of rare agrocite ore for the Grand Army. Although scarred and forced to wear a cybernetic eye replacement, Wolffe continued his Republic service in the war, undertaking several key rescue missions with Koon. Wolffe even joined Koon in facing off against General Grievous during the Battle of Felucia and the following Mission to Iceberg Three. (Read more…)

"Master Ropal was unaware of the danger your son is in."
―Mahtee Dunn and Cad Bane — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Wee Dunn was a male Rodian living with his mother, Mahtee Dunn, in Rodia's Kay-Tap square during the Clone Wars. The young Rodian was discovered to be Force-sensitive during his early infancy, but was not to be taken into the Jedi Order until a slightly older age. Dunn's identity was entered into a database of Force-sensitive infants stored within the Kyber memory crystal, which was used to locate future members of the Jedi Order when the time came for them to be trained. This crystal was eventually stolen by the Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane at the behest of Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Planning to use the Force-sensitive infants to create an army of dark side warriors, Sidious directed Bane to abduct two children from the crystal's list and deliver them to Mustafar, where they would become the Dark Lord's test subjects. Dunn was Bane's second target, and the bounty hunter traveled to Kay-Tap square in the guise of a Jedi Knight in order to fool his mother into willingly handing over the infant. Bane succeeded and took Wee Dunn to Mustafar, where the young Rodian was prepared for brain-washing surgery. Before the operation could take place, however, Dunn was rescued by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano. After the ordeal, Dunn was taken into the Jedi Order. (Read more…)

―Waxer, to Numa — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

"Waxer" was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in Ghost Company, a unit of the Grand Army of the Republic's 212th Attack Battalion. During the Clone Wars, Waxer fought alongside Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in freeing the Togrutan colony world of Kiros from the Separatist Droid Army and later participated in the liberation of the planet Ryloth and its Twi'lek inhabitants. On Ryloth, Ghost Company—led by General Kenobi—was assigned to destroy the Confederate proton cannons in the city of Nabat, in order to allow the Galactic Republic Acclamator I-class assault ships to land. After the company reached the city, Waxer and fellow trooper Boil were dispatched to scout ahead and soon found a young Twi'lek orphan named Numa in one of the city's alleys.

Taking compassion on the girl, Waxer—despite Boil's protests—decided to take her with them, and the Twi'lek led the two clones to her destroyed home. There, the three were attacked by several gutkurr beasts, but they managed to escape thanks to Numa's knowledge of secret underground passages beneath Nabat. After regrouping with the rest of the Republic troops, Waxer and Boil participated in an assault on the city's courtyard, where Nabat's captive inhabitants were being used as living shields for the proton cannons. While Ghost Company distracted the Confederate battle droids, Waxer, Boil, and Kenobi went behind enemy lines through a secret passage shown to them by Numa, liberated the Twi'leks, and destroyed the proton cannons. After the successful liberation of Ryloth, Waxer participated in a Republic offensive aimed at destroying several Separatist battle droid foundries on the recently rebelled planet of Geonosis. During the battle, Waxer and Boil rescued Kenobi, whose landing gunship had been shot down by Geonosian forces. (Read more…)

"The Republic military brings more than conflict, I assure you. I am far more interested in using this might to fortify the future than wage war in the present."
―Jedi Master Bolla Ropal[src]

Bolla Ropal (Pronunciation ) was a male Rodian Jedi Master who lived in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Ropal acted as the keeper of the Kyber memory crystal, a device that contained the names of all known Force-sensitive children in the galaxy. Around the beginning of the war, the Rodian accompanied several other Jedi Masters and members of the Jedi High Council to a meeting with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine regarding the kidnapping of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son by agents of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Later in the war, Ropal and his Padawan, Tyzen Xebec, oversaw the construction of the Temple of Eedit, a Republic base on Devaron.

During a meeting between Ropal and several Devaronian dignitaries, Devaron was invaded by Confederate forces under the command of the bounty hunter Cad Bane. Under the directive of his client, Darth Sidious, Bane hunted down Ropal in order to retrieve the Kyber crystal and unlock the information it held. Ropal was defeated during the battle and taken to Bane's Munificent-class frigate, where he was imprisoned and tortured. Learning of Bane's plot to steal the crystal, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker led a Republic fleet to Devaron to engage the bounty hunter and rescue Ropal before the Confederate forces fled the system. Short on time, Bane increased Ropal's torture while repeatedly trying to force the Jedi Master to unlock the secrets of the crystal. Ropal continually refused, and the torture eventually resulted in his death. The Jedi Master's body was discovered shortly thereafter by Republic forces and moved to the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute. (Read more…)

Boil was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in the 212th Attack Battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic and was a member of Ghost Company. Around 21 BBY, after the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Boil was among the troops dispatched to liberate the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth from the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander CC-2224, Ghost Company was assigned to destroy the Separatist proton cannons based out of the city of Nabat. After the company reached the city, Boil, along with fellow trooper Waxer, was assigned to scout ahead.

During their recon mission, Boil and Waxer stumbled upon a young Twi'lek girl named Numa. Despite protests from Boil, Waxer decided to take her with them, and the girl led the two clones to the remains of her shattered home. There, the three were attacked by several gutkurr creatures, but escaped through a secret passage shown by Numa. After rendezvousing with the rest of Ghost Company, Boil participated in a raid on the Nabat courtyard, where Separatist battle droids had rounded up the city's inhabitants near the proton cannons. While Ghost Company distracted the droids, Boil, Waxer, and Kenobi went through a secret passage shown by Numa, liberated the Twi'leks, and destroyed the cannons. Later in the war, Boil took part in a battle on the planet Geonosis under the command of General Kenobi. After Kenobi's LAAT/i gunship was shot down by enemy fire while attempting to land on the planet, Boil and Waxer rescued the Jedi General and escorted him to the Republic's position. (Read more…)

"We have no choice, Admiral. General Skywalker's condition may be critical. We must get him on board the Resolute."
"Are all Jedi so reckless?"
"Just the good ones."
―Wullf Yularen and Aayla Secura[src]

The Sky Battle of Quell took place in the second year of the Clone Wars in the skies over the contested world of Quell when Jedi General Aayla Secura and her Republic fleet were ambushed by a Confederate Navy flotilla. Meeting in Quell's upper atmosphere, each faction launched starfighter squadrons that engaged their enemies in combat. Although both sides took losses, it was Secura's forces that suffered greater casualties when two of her three Star Destroyers fell to the Confederate frigates' heavy turbolaser fire. As the Separatist tactical droid commander dispatched B2-RP battle droids to board Secura's crippled command ship, the Liberty, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker arrived with reinforcements aboard his own flagship, the Resolute. Launching in LAAT/i gunships, Skywalker boarded the Liberty with his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, and troops of the 501st Legion led by Clone Captain CT-7567 to evacuate the cruiser before it could be destroyed.

Skywalker, Tano, and CT-7567 were able to catch up with Secura and her clone commander, CC-5052, during the fight to repel the Confederate battle droid invaders from the Liberty. Although Skywalker was seriously wounded while attempting to help his comrades evacuate the Star Destroyer, he, Secura, Tano, and several clone troopers successfully escaped from the Liberty aboard a Consular-class cruiser. Yet, when the frigate attempted to dock to the Resolute so that Skywalker could receive proper medical attention, the small vessel's hyperdrive was inadvertently activated from an attack by a Vulture droid starfighter squadron. The three Jedi and the clones were unable to prevent their ship from jumping to hyperspace, leaving Admiral Wullf Yularen and the Resolute to continue the battle against the Separatist armada with the remaining Republic forces, which were eventually defeated. Rugosa.jpg
"Let me propose a neutral meeting ground. Shall we say…Rugosa, yes? Three days' time. The coral moon shall do."
―King Katuunko[src]

Rugosa, also known as the coral moon, was a temperate moon in the Sanbra sector. It was one of the worlds that made up the Infinite Empire, a galactic power led by the Rakatan species in approximately 30,000 BBY. The moon was later discovered by Toydarian scouts working near the Balmorra Run, and because of its attractive climate and warm oceans, it became a Toydarian vacation spot that they kept secret from their Hutt masters. Once the Hutts discovered the Toydarians' duplicity, they punished them by releasing a plague onto the moon, drying up all its oceans and exposing vast expanses of coral.

During the Clone Wars, Rugosa was selected as the site for negotiations between King Katuunko of Toydaria and representatives of the Galactic Republic. However, when the Confederacy of Independent Systems intercepted communications arranging the meeting, they ambushed the Republic envoy. A small group of clone troopers, led by Jedi Master Yoda, made it to the moon and engaged the Confederacy in combat, eventually defeating their forces and gaining the allegiance of King Katuunko. CT-21-0408Edit

(Taken to FA by JangFett on March 11, 2010)

EchoHS.jpg

CT-21-0408, nicknamed "Echo," as he was known for "echoing" the standard rules and procedures established for clones, was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Echo stood guard at Rishi Station, a listening post located on the moon of Rishi, where he and other rookie clone troopers were stationed. Under the command of Sergeant O'Niner, the group of clones maintained the listening post to warn the Galactic Republic fleet of any attacks on Kamino by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The troops were present during a surprise Confederate attack on the station, when BX-series droid commandos took over the base and fortified themselves inside. After three droid commandos shot and killed O'Niner, Echo and the other rookie troopers evacuated the listening post through a ventilation shaft.

Outside, the clones witnessed two clone officers, Commander Cody and Captain Rex, arrive at the base shortly after the attack for a routine inspection. The two met up with Echo and the remaining clone troopers and organized a plan to attack the droids. Upon regaining control of the base with the other clones, Rex ordered the station's destruction to turn of its all-clear beacon and alert a nearby Republic fleet to the imminent Separatist attack. Echo suggested the use of using liquid tibanna, which was being stored in several plunk droids, to destroy the base. However, when the remote detonator to the liquid tibanna was unable to be connected to the explosives, trooper Hevy decided to stay behind and fix the problem before joining the others, while the other clones left the base through a ventilation shaft. Soon after Echo and the others evacuated the base, it exploded, resulting in the destruction of the droid forces and the death of Hevy, who had been unable to make it out. A LAAT/i gunship soon arrived and picked up the surviving clone troopers. On board the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute, Echo and fellow trooper Fives were rewarded with medals for their service and were inducted into the 501st Legion. (Read more…)

Cliffhold.jpg
"Place dried up once the spice convoys stopped running. Out here, we're just one of the millions of little backwaters no one cares about."
―Jaybo Hood, on Cliffhold's situation — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Cliffhold was a spaceport city that was built directly into the face of a cliff on the Outer Rim Territories world of Iego. Founded in the later years of the Galactic Republic, Cliffhold was used by smugglers as a center for spice production. Spice convoys eventually stopped running, but a number of residents remained in the city, managing their dilapidated home. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems discovered Iego and seized the world, but abandoned it soon afterward, leaving behind a number of defunct battle droids in Cliffhold. After the Separatists' departure, the people of Cliffhold were unable to leave the planet, as their vessels were repeatedly destroyed by a LaserWeb Defense Station that had been left behind by the Confederacy. The superstitious residents believed that it was instead a malevolent spirit called Drol that was preventing them from leaving.

Later in the war, the city was visited by Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi during their search for an antidote to the Blue Shadow Virus. The Jedi retrieved the antidote and attempted to leave Iego, but were stopped by the defense station. With the assistance of Cliffhold resident Jaybo Hood, the two freed Cliffhold from its fear of Drol by destroying the LaserWeb Defense grid. "Drol" returned once more when the IG-86 sentinel droid HELIOS-3D reactivated part of the laser grid and many of the abandoned Confederate forces in orbit of Iego. The people of Cliffhold contacted Kenobi and Skywalker for assistance, and the two again intervened and freed the planet. (Read more…)

Battle of the Rishi MoonEdit

(Taken to FA by JangFett on April 23, 2010)

Rookies2.jpg
"Get a message to the fleet! We have to warn—"
―Sergeant O'Niner, to his rookie troopers — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

This battle took place on the moon of Rishi around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. The Confederate General Grievous and Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress planned to attack the Wild Space planet Kamino in order to end the Republic's production of clone troopers based there, but a Republic listening post on the Rishi moon near Kamino prevented their fleet from entering the system undetected. Grievous therefore decided to capture the post before attacking Kamino to avoid alerting the nearby Republic fleet to his invasion. He deployed BX-series droid commandos to the moon in a boarding ship, and the inexperienced Republic troopers at the base failed to spot the approaching Confederate ship within a meteor shower. The battle droids then attacked the clones, taking them by surprise and hot-wiring the base's all-clear signal so that they were unable to send word to the Republic fleet of the attack. While the droids overran the base, clone troopers Echo, Fives, Hevy, and Cutup fled the base through a ventilation shaft. Outside, however, Cutup was killed by a Rishi eel.

Meanwhile, Clone Commander Cody and Clone Captain Rex arrived for a routine inspection of the base. They were ambushed by the droid commandos but managed to escape and soon found the three surviving clone troopers. The clones then tricked the droids into opening the main doors of the listening post and quickly retook the base. When the commando droids stopped responding, Grievous sent a group of battle droids to investigate. Realizing that they couldn't defeat all of the reinforcements, the clones devised a plan to destroy the listening post with liquid Tibanna in order to shut off its hot-wired all-clear signal and warn the Republic fleet of the attack. Before they evacuated the base, however, Rex noticed that the remote detonator wasn't responding, so Hevy stayed behind to address the problem while the other clones escaped the base through a ventilation shaft. The invading battle droids entered the station's command center and opened fire on Hevy, injuring him. Hevy then manually detonated the explosive, instantly killing himself, but destroying the droids and listening post in the process, and cutting off the all-clear signal. Alerted to the attack, the Republic fleet arrived and intercepted Grievous's fleet, forcing the Confederate ships to retreat. Following the Republic victory, Echo and Fives were both inducted into the 501st Legion, and the late Hevy was honored for his bravery and sacrifice. (Read more…)

Kul TeskaEdit

Kul Teska.jpg
"My name is Kul Teska. And what I want, you don't have. But I'll settle on seeing the looks on your faces as your precious Clones die."
―Kul Teska, to Obi-Wan Kenobi[src]

Kul Teska was a Skakoan male mercenary active during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Before he took a criminal's path, Teska was a respected scientist in the Techno Union. However, an accident with his pressure suit left Teska disfigured and forced him to leave the Union. With the help of his knowledge in the field of cybernetics, Teska rebuilt his pressure suit, equipping it with a variety of weapons, and became a gun-for-hire. All the while, Teska continued his own experiments with gravity and began construction of the gravitic polarization beam, a superweapon with enough firepower to collapse a star. Teska's experiments soon attracted the attention of Count Dooku, the leader of the Confederacy. During the Clone Wars, Teska came into Dooku's service and was provided with a laboratory on the planet Behpour in the Naboo system, where the Skakoan continued the development of his weapon.

By around 21 BBY, the gravitic beam was complete, and its integral part, the Gravitic Core, was to be delivered to Behpour on a Munificent-class star frigate. However, the crate containing the Core was stolen over the planet Alzoc III by the Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane. Hoping to track the Core by the power signature it radiated, Teska assaulted the Republic space station Juma 9 in order to use its scanners. After locating the part on the planet Ryloth, Teska was confronted by two Jedi Masters inside the station, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Plo Koon. The Skakoan evaded the two and headed for Ryloth. There, he met Cad Bane, who had been taken into custody by the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, and was being escorted to his starship, The Sleight of Hand, with the crate.

After a skirmish with the two Jedi and two of their clone troopers, CS-2207 and CT-7567, Teska reclaimed the part and stole Bane's transport in order to reach Behpour. When Teska reached his base, Republic Senator Padmé Amidala arrived on the planet, investigating rumors of a Separatist presence in the system. Teska captured the Senator and held her hostage. Soon, following a message delivered by Amidala, the Republic forces assaulted Behpour. Skywalker and Tano infiltrated the base, and the Skakoan ordered them to surrender, or he would kill the captive Senator. The two Jedi, however, rescued Amidala and engaged Kul Teska in battle in the gravitic polarization beam's core room, while the beam itself built up its power to collapse the Naboo star. Teska was killed, and Amidala sabotaged the beam, causing it to destroy itself and the entire base. (Read more…)

"For a guy who moves slow, you always seem to get ahead of me."
"The value of moving slowly is that one can always clearly see the way ahead."

Tera Sinube was a male Cosian who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars as a Master within the Jedi Order. Sinube had an intimate knowledge of the workings of Coruscant's criminal underworld and was regarded as an expert on the subject. Around 21 BBY, Master Sinube's services were called upon by the Togruta Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, whose lightsaber had recently been stolen from her. His and the young Jedi's quest to find her weapon initially led them to a thief named Bannamu, who had sold the lightsaber to Nack Movers, a Trandoshan criminal. They tracked Movers down only to find him dead in his apartment, and they discovered the premises to be occupied by two suspicious females: Cassie Cryar and Ione Marcy.

Sinube began to interrogate Marcy while Tano chased the fleeing Cryar, whom the Padawan discovered was now in possession of her lightsaber. When the Cosian Jedi determined that Marcy was in collusion with Cryar, he called for her arrest, but she too fled. Sinube met up with Tano shortly afterward, and together they continued the pursuit of both women. They eventually located the fugitives on a train platform. While Marcy was arrested by several nearby police droids, Cryar ran, only to be cornered by Tano on a train. Sinube then surprised Cryar just as she prepared to exit the train with two recently captured Twi'lek hostages. He swiftly disarmed her with his own lightsaber before returning the stolen lightsaber to its rightful owner, Ahsoka Tano. (Read more…)

Suu was a female Twi'lek who lived during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Prior to the Clone Wars, Suu gave birth to two children, a girl named Shaeeah and a boy named Jekk. Around the second year of the galactic conflict, Suu married Cut Lawquane, a clone trooper who had deserted the Grand Army of the Republic. Lawquane adopted Suu's children, and together the four of them lived on and maintained a farm on the Outer Rim world of Saleucami. The war eventually turned Saleucami into a battlefield, and during a hunt for the Confederacy of Independent Systems General Grievous on the planet's surface, several clone troopers requested that they be allowed to use Suu's home to tend to their wounded captain, CT-7567.

Suu agreed and allowed for the Captain to bunk in the farm's barn. Upon discovering that Suu's husband was a deserter, the Captain stated his intentions to report Lawquane to Republic officials. Despite the tension between the two men, CT-7567 spent time with the family and came to respect Lawquane for his devotion to his wife and children. The two clones later worked together to defend Suu, Jekk, and Shaeeah when the farm's homestead came under attack from BX-series droid commandos. After the incident, the Captain told Suu that he did not plan to report Lawquane's desertion to the Army, and left the Twi'lek and her family in peace. (Read more…)

Battle of KhormEdit

BattleofKhorm.jpg
"With the addition of the Khormai agrocite to our arsenal, I am confident we have taken a bold step toward bringing peace to the galaxy. Your brave service to the Republic made this great victory possible."
―Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, to Kendal Ozzel, after the battle[src]

The Battle of Khorm took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Hoping to obtain access to the deposits of the valuable agrocite mineral on the ice planet of Khorm for the Republic, the Galactic Senate dispatched a force under the command of three Jedi GeneralsPlo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht—to Khorm. However, by the time the Republic arrived there, the Confederacy had formed an alliance with the native Khormai Warlord Unger Gout, occupied the planet, and enslaved the local population to mine agrocite for them. The Confederacy additionally constructed a weather-control station that created a storm in Khorm's atmosphere, preventing the Republic from using air support but still enabling the fleet to land ground troops.

Soon, the Republic captured an agrocite processing facility and established an outpost there, forcing Gout to request reinforcements from the Confederate leader, Count Dooku. Asajj Ventress, Dooku's Dark Acolyte, was dispatched to assist Gout and arrived at Khorm. However, the Jedi realized that the storm was being created by the weather-control station, prompting Fisto, Koon, and a detachment of clone troopers to set off to destroy it. After the Jedi had left, Ventress and Gout initiated a counterattack at the processing facility and recaptured it. Ventress personally slew General Tauht—who had been left in charge of the base—and the Confederacy captured Major Kendal Ozzel, Clone Commander CC-3636, and several clone troopers. Ventress tracked and ambushed the remaining two Jedi and their team but was unable to kill them, as she was recalled back to the processing facility to recapture Ozzel and the clones, who had managed to escape from Separatist custody.

Ventress pursued the escapees to a Republic staging point and almost decimated all remaining Republic forces stationed there. However, after Koon and Fisto finally managed to destroy the weather-control station, Republic reinforcements arrived, and Ventress was forced to retreat to an agrocite mine, where the enslaved Khormai were being held. The Dark Acolyte then had the mine rigged with explosives with the intention of killing the Khormai if the Republic conquered the mine. Discovering this, the Jedi decided to free the hostages before initiating a full-scale attack and tried to signal Ozzel—who was tasked with leading the assault on the mine—to delay his advance. The Jedi were not able to contact the Major, as the Separatists were jamming all signals, and Ozzel began his attack while the hostages were still in Ventress's custody. During the ensuing fight, Gout revealed the powerful agrocite cannons that he had constructed. Fisto and Clone Captain Sharp were able to destroy them, however, and Koon prevented Ventress from demolishing the mine. The battle was won by the Republic, and the Khormai were liberated, but Ventress managed to escape. (Read more…)

Second Battle of GeonosisEdit

2nd Battle of Geonosis.jpg
"As Captain Rex said, this will be a full scale planetary invasion. We're settling the score on Geonosis once and for all."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi[src]

The Second Battle of Geonosis took place in 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, when the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic launched a full-scale planetary invasion of Geonosis to shut down several Separatist battle droid foundries that Archduke Poggle the Lesser had built there. Following Senator Padmé Amidala's discovery of the droid factories, the Jedi High Council dispatched a massive Jedi-led detachment of the Grand Army of the Republic to retake Geonosis and halt the facilities' production of battle droids. Tasked with the challenge of landing on the planet and establishing a staging area, the Jedi mounted a three-pronged attack on the Geonosian defenses in what became known as the battle of Point Rain, with Jedi Generals Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker each leading an assault force. After establishing a landing zone at Point Rain, a site close to the factories' Ray Shield Fortress generator, the Republic army regrouped and disabled the factories' ray shield, making way for the rest of the clone trooper forces to safely land.

While Poggle attempted to retake Point Rain and his Ray Shield Fortress, his main droid foundry was targeted by the Jedi. In order to eliminate the factory, Generals Skywalker and Luminara Unduli battled the facility's droid defenses in open warfare while their respective Padawans, Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee, sneaked into the facility via the catacombs beneath it. As their Masters battled Poggle's army—including several newly designed super tanks—on the bridge leading to the factory, the Padawans' infiltration of the foundry was cut short when they were intercepted by Poggle and his tactical droid, TX-21. With their explosive charges stolen, Tano and Offee used a super tank to blow up the facility's reactor and collapse the factory from the inside. Skywalker and Unduli rescued their Padawans from the debris once the foundry had fallen. Despite the Republic's destruction of other key factories, Poggle remained at large, having escaped his primary foundry before its eradication.

As the Jedi undertook the cleanup of Geonosis, they launched a campaign to find and apprehend Poggle. Unduli spearheaded the search and followed Poggle to the abandoned Progate Temple, where she was captured by the Archduke and taken to the lair of Geonosian Queen Karina the Great in the catacombs below. Tracking Unduli's last known location, Kenobi and Skywalker set out with a clone platoon to rescue her. Battling hordes of "undead" Geonosian warriors who were being reanimated by the Queen's brain worm parasites, the Jedi and their troops found Unduli in Karina's lair. Although Karina wished to induct Unduli and her comrades into her ranks of mind-controlled warriors, Kenobi, Skywalker, and their men were able to save Unduli and take Poggle into custody. The Jedi and their troops destroyed much of the Queen's lair during their escape, burying Karina the Great and her warriors beneath the temple, and the Republic's recapture of Geonosis was secured. Peppi BowEdit

Peppi Bow.jpg
"This is Peppi Bow. She was the last person to see them. Padmé sent her here to safety."
―Captain Gregar Typho — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Peppi Bow was a female Gungan shaak herder living on Naboo during the final years of the Old Republic. Shortly after the beginning of the Clone Wars, the Gungan's herd became skittish when near Naboo's eastern swamps, in much the same way they had during the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo ten years prior. Bow, concerned that the planet may be facing another invasion, contacted the leader of the Gungans, Boss Rugor Nass, who brought her before the Naboo Royal Advisory Council. Bow explained to the Naboo Queen Neeyutnee that she feared battle droids had returned to Naboo—fears that were dismissed by much of the council. She was later vindicated when a patrol of the Royal Naboo Security Forces intercepted a squad of Confederacy of Independent Systems droids.

Bow returned to her herd, most of which would later be killed after drinking from a river just outside of Naboo's capital of Theed. She learned from Naboo politicians Padmé Amidala and Jar Jar Binks that her animals were the victims of a Confederate biological weapon that had contaminated the river. Bow aided the two in locating the weapon's source, and after Amidala and Binks were captured by Confederate forces, she aided Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano in locating the politicians. Bow and Tano discovered that they were being held in a secret Trade Federation laboratory beneath the eastern swamps—the same laboratory where the bioweapon was developed. While Tano and Republic forces assaulted the lab, Bow waited in the swamp above to prevent any Confederate forces from escaping the battle. At the end of the raid, Doctor Nuvo Vindi, who was responsible for the bioweapon and the capture of Amidala and Binks, attempted to flee Republic forces, but was stopped by Peppi Bow after she tackled and incapacitated him. Mandalore Defense ResolutionEdit

(Taken to FA by Darth Trayus on May 16, 2010)

Mandalore Defense Initiative.jpg
"Let us commit our military might to defending the Mandalorian people."
"Defending? You mean to occupy our home! You would trample our right to self-determination."
"We mean to save your people."
―Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and Duchess Satine Kryze[src]

During the Clone Wars, a resolution for a military occupation of the Outer Rim world of Mandalore was introduced to and voted upon by the Senate of the Galactic Republic. The initiative was proposed in response a sudden increase of violence on Mandalore instigated by the Death Watch movement. Death Watch leader Pre Vizsla orchestrated the attacks on Mandalore in order to destabilize the peaceful New Mandalorian government led by the pacifist Mandalorian Duchess Satine Kryze. Backed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Vizsla was able to create the impression that Death Watch was a significant threat to both Mandalore and the Republic as a whole. This, in addition to rumors that Kryze herself was working alongside the Confederacy, prompted the Senate to call a vote on whether or not to send the Republic's Grand Army to Mandalore to restore order.

Kryze, who desperately wished for Mandalore to stay neutral in the Clone Wars, resisted the idea of an occupying force from the Republic's clone army, as she believed it would push the Mandalorian people into the arms of the Death Watch insurgency. Vizsla and the Confederate Head of State Count Dooku also shared this belief and attempted to prevent Kryze from making an appeal against the initiative to the Senate. Although their attacks on the Duchess failed, Kryze's appeal to the Senate was derailed by a holographic testimony from Mandalore's Deputy Minister Jerec, which indicated that the world was in need of Republic protection from the Death Watch. As a result of the testimony and another attempt on Kryze's life, the Senate accelerated the vote on the initiative and approved it. Jerec's testimony was later found to have been doctored, and the true recording was presented to the Senate just before the Republic peace-keeping force was dispatched to Mandalore. In light of the new evidence, the Senate voted to rescind its earlier approval of the occupation, killing the initiative. (Read more…)

"My name is Lawquane. Cut Lawquane."
―Cut Lawquane — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

Cut Lawquane was a clone trooper who served in the Galactic Republic's Grand Army. Following the Battle of Geonosis, which sparked the Clone Wars, Lawquane's clone trooper transport was attacked by two Confederate gunships. The gunships fired on the clone transport, which caused it to crash. While most of his team had been injured or killed in the crash, Lawquane deserted the squad, escaping death. After leaving the Grand Army and the war, the former clone trooper met and married a female Twi'lek named Suu. Lawquane became the adoptive father of Suu's two children: a girl named Shaeeah and a boy named Jekk. As Lawquane wanted to avoid being detected by the Republic, the family lived on a farm on the planet Saleucami.

However, the war eventually came to Saleucami, when Republic troops were hunting the Confederate General Grievous. While Lawquane was away from the farm delivering his first harvest, the homestead was visited by a squad of clone troopers looking for refuge for their wounded captain, Rex. After returning to the homestead that night, Lawquane invited Rex to join his family inside their homestead. Soon afterward, Shaeeah accidentally activated a series of BX-series droid commandos, who were inside an abandoned escape pod in the farm's nearby field. Lawquane and Rex defeated the droids, and Rex departed Lawquane's farm the next day. Before he left the farm, the Clone Captain told the former clone trooper that he was not going to turn him in for deserting, allowing Lawquane to live in peace with his family. (Read more…)

Convention of Civilized SystemsEdit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on June 13, 2010)

"It is obvious these creatures are not covered by the Convention of Civilized Systems. The Jedi Council has no say in the matter."
―Chairman Chi Cho, on the Talz[src]

The Convention of Civilized Systems was a bill of rights movement that had been ratified by the Galactic Republic by the time of the Clone Wars. It was put into effect to apply better methods of determining a species' sentience, and it additionally granted the rights of sentient Republic citizens to those who were deemed to deserve them. The decree provided various tests to ascertain sentience, and amendments to the act expanded its coverage to species in multiple star systems that appeared incapable of interstellar travel. However, the bill of rights itself increased genocidal crimes against previously undocumented sentient species, as some individuals drove species to extinction and then covered up the massacres so as not to be prosecuted by the Republic. Besides these illicit genocides, another example of a failure of the law act's enforcement occurred when Chairman Chi Cho of the Pantoran Assembly declared war on the Talz tribe that had colonized the ice world Orto Plutonia, intent on discrediting their claim to Orto Plutonia and restoring that of the planet's moon, Pantora. The fiasco ended when Senator Riyo Chuchi negotiated a peace agreement with the Talz, who were in fact sentient despite Cho's claims that they were not covered by the Convention of Civilized Systems. CT-27-5555Edit

(Taken to FA by JangFett on June 13, 2010)

Fives tattoo.jpg
"We call him Fives."
―Echo, introducing Fives to Cody and Rex[src]

CT-27-5555 was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Because of his assigned clone number, he was given the nickname "Fives." Around 21 BBY, Fives stood guard at Rishi Station, a listening post located on the moon of Rishi, where he and other rookie clone troopers were stationed. After three droid commandos shot and killed O'Niner, Fives and the other rookie troopers evacuated the listening post through a ventilation shaft. Outside the base, the clones witnessed two clone officers, Commander Cody and Captain Rex, arrive at the listening post's landing pad shortly after the attack for a routine inspection.

The two met up with Fives and the remaining clone troopers and organized a plan to attack the droids. Upon regaining control of the base with the other clones, Rex ordered the station's destruction in order to turn off its all-clear beacon and alert a nearby Republic fleet to the imminent Separatist attack. Since the rookie clones were assigned to protect the listening post, Fives and trooper Echo objected to Rex's order. When Rex dismissed their objections, Echo suggested using liquid tibanna, which was being stored in several plunk droids, to destroy the base. When the remote detonator to the liquid tibanna was unable to be connected to the explosives, trooper Hevy decided to stay behind and fix the problem before joining the others, while the other clones left the base through a ventilation shaft. Soon after Fives and the others evacuated the base, it exploded, resulting in the destruction of the droid forces and the death of Hevy, who had been unable to make it out. A LAAT/i gunship soon arrived and picked up the surviving clone troopers. On board the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute, Fives and Echo were rewarded with medals for their service and were inducted into the 501st Legion. (Read more…)

First Battle of SaleucamiEdit

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on June 13, 2010)

First Battle of Saleucami.jpg
"It's time somebody finally put an end to that monster."
―Anakin Skywalker, on General Grievous[src]

During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a battle occurred between the two factions on and in orbit of the Outer Rim world Saleucami. The conflict was the result of the capture and torture of Jedi High Council member Eeth Koth at the hands of the Confederate Supreme Commander, General Grievous. With the Jedi Master as his captive, Grievous sent a transmission to the remainder of the Council on Coruscant in which he brutally tortured Koth to express his hatred for the Jedi Order. Unbeknownst to the cyborg General, Koth used discreet hand signals to inform the Council of his location. Using the information provided by Koth, Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Adi Gallia, as well as Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, organized an assault force to engage the Confederacy at Saleucami, rescue Koth, and capture General Grievous.

Kenobi was the first of the Jedi to arrive at Saleucami and engaged Grievous's forces with a fleet of Star Destroyers and nimble Consular-class frigates under the command of Admiral Wullf Yularen. Early in the battle, Kenobi's light cruiser was caught in a tractor beam from Grievous's Separatist destroyer and was boarded by battle droid forces and the cyborg General himself. While Grievous was dueling Kenobi aboard the cruiser, Skywalker and Gallia entered the battle and infiltrated the General's destroyer to rescue Eeth Koth. Despite Grievous's preparations for such an occurrence, the two Jedi were successful in freeing the captive Master and getting him off the ship. Meanwhile, Grievous, understanding that Kenobi had the upper hand in their duel, retreated to his destroyer and led his battle droids onto a landing craft bound for Saleucami's surface. During the descent, the craft collided with debris from the battle, forcing Grievous to flee the doomed vessel in an escape pod.

While Skywalker continued the battle in orbit, Kenobi led a force of clone troopers to the planet's surface to hunt down Grievous. The cyborg General evaded and fled from the Republic forces, hoping to reach an escape pod with a functioning transmitter in order to call for an evacuation transport. During the search for Grievous, Clone Captain CT-7567 was seriously injured, necessitating aid from local farmer Cut Lawquane, a clone who had deserted the Grand Army of the Republic. During the Captain's stay at Lawquane's farm, droid commandos that had previously escaped the doomed landing craft attacked the farm homestead and were repelled by CT-7567 and the former trooper. Meanwhile, Kenobi caught up with and engaged Grievous, who fled the battle once a Sheathipede-class shuttle arrived to ferry him away. (Read more…)

Axe was the nickname of a veteran clone trooper pilot who served in the Galactic Republic Navy. During the Clone Wars, the clone pilot served in Blue Squadron, a Republic starfighter unit attached to the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute, and was given the call sign "Blue Leader." However, Axe gave the title to Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano around 21 BBY when the two participated in the Battle of Ryloth, and then took the call sign of "Blue Two." In the engagement, Blue Squadron was tasked with destroying the Confederate Captain Mar Tuuk's blockade over the Twi'lek planet Ryloth.

During the battle, Axe was accompanied by fellow clone pilots Slammer, Kickback, Tucker, and Swoop, while the squadron made its way toward Tuuk's command ship. However, Confederate Vulture droids attacked Blue Squadron, causing heavy damage to several of their fighters. As the droids also attacked the Republic force's three Venator-class Star Destroyers—the Resolute, Defender, and RedeemerAdmiral Wullf Yularen and Skywalker ordered Tano and her men to retreat. ShahanAlama.jpg

Shahan Alama was a male Weequay bounty hunter from Sriluur who was active during the Clone Wars. After being kicked out of a pirate gang, he was recruited alongside fellow bounty hunters Aurra Sing and Robonino by the Duros hunter Cad Bane to see how well they would work together. Bane decided to task them with the capture of the mercenary Davtokk, and the trio successfully carried out their mission. Bane, impressed with their teamwork, formed the three into his new posse, and they traveled to the galactic capital of Coruscant to attempt to free the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure from Republic prison.

During the raid, the bounty hunters captured several senators, holding them hostage in the Republic Executive Building to force Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to free Ziro. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was present in the Senate Building and attempted to foil the bounty hunters' plan, but Alama, Sing, and Robonino managed to find and incapacitate him. Palpatine agreed to free Ziro, and after the Hutt was released, the bounty hunters escaped with Ziro, leaving a system of explosives in the atrium to use the senators as leverage for their escape. Afterward, Bane ordered his posse to go into hiding. Alama traveled to the planet Florrum, where he was attacked first by a Confederate frigate and then by nearby Republic forces. He was forced to crash-land on Florrum, where he found the Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who intended to hold him for ransom. (Read more…)

Cad BaneEdit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on July 26, 2010)

CadBane-DK.jpg

Cad Bane was a male Duros bounty hunter from the planet Duro who earned a reputation as the galaxy's best, deadliest, and most fearsome mercenary during the Clone Wars. Though he worked for a number of clients, his loyalty was ultimately to credits—and by extension, the highest bidder. Bane employed a variety of weapons and allies to ensure that he always got his pay, and he became the leader in his line of work after fellow bounty hunter Jango Fett perished in the opening battle of the war. Bane's renown attracted the attention of Count Dooku and even the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, the latter of whom employed him numerous times for his own means. Bane also found a rival in the Separatist scientist Kul Teska, whose superweapon he hijacked a part of, leading Teska to forcibly reclaim the device from him on Ryloth.

Under Darth Sidious's employ, Bane stole a Jedi holocron from the Jedi Temple to unlock the Kyber memory crystal, a repository of all recorded Force-sensitive infants in the galaxy. After pilfering the crystal from Jedi Master Bolla Ropal on Devaron and forcing Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker to unlock it, Bane was sent to kidnap four of the Force-sensitive infants listed in the crystal. Although he was captured by Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, after delivering two of the children to Sidious's secret facility on Mustafar, Bane lured Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu into a trap on his hideout, Black Stall Station, and subsequently escaped from the Jedi's custody.

Bane was later hired by the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure and the Hutt Grand Council to break Jabba's criminal uncle, Ziro Desilijic Tiure, out of Republic custody on Coruscant. To do so, he formed a team of hunters to capture members of the Galactic Senate and force Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to free Ziro. Once he had liberated Ziro from his prison, Bane delivered him to the Hutt Council and disbanded his posse. When Ziro escaped from Nal Hutta, Bane was rehired to track down the crime lord, and though he arrived on Teth too late to secure his bounty, he managed to evade Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Quinlan Vos, who attempted to apprehend him for his crimes. Bane retained his formidable reputation throughout the Clone Wars, after which he became one of the Galactic Empire's preferred freelancers. (Read more…)

Rush ClovisEdit

"How do you think I feel? I hate the thought of answering to Clovis. But perhaps we won't have to, now that we've finally found his weakness. What if we were to poison Senator Amidala? I think Clovis would do anything to save her."
―Senator Lott Dod[src]

Baron Rush Clovis was a Human male who served as the representative of Scipio and a delegate for the InterGalactic Banking Clan in the Galactic Senate during the latter days of the Old Republic. Clovis entered the Senate in 25 BBY and quickly formed a relationship with fellow first-year senator, Padmé Amidala. Amidala, the representative of Naboo and the Chommell sector, served with Clovis on several committees, and the two eventually became romantically involved. Amidala soon insisted that they keep their relationship strictly professional, however—a request that was not well received by Clovis.

Clovis continued in his post as senator for a further three years, until the outbreak of the galaxy-wide Clone Wars between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 22 BBY. As a senatorial delegate for the Confederate-allied InterGalactic Banking Clan, Clovis began clandestine dealings with Separatist interests on behalf of the clan while maintaining his appearance as a Republic Loyalist. In the early days of the war, the Banking Clan invested heavily in the creation of a new droid factory for the Separatist Droid Army to be built on the Outer Rim world of Geonosis. The factory was a joint venture with the Trade Federation, necessitating that Clovis work alongside fellow covert Confederate operative, Senator Lott Dod, and Geonosian Archduke Poggle the Lesser. Unbeknownst to Clovis, the Jedi High Council suspected him of treason, and so asked his former flame, Padmé Amidala, to gather information on his dealings. Under the belief that Amidala was interested in resurrecting their relationship, Clovis allowed the Naboo Senator to accompany him to a meeting with Dod and Poggle on Cato Neimoidia, during which she discovered his allegiance to the Confederacy and his investments in the new Geonosian droid foundry.

Before Amidala could relate this information back to the Jedi Order, she was poisoned by Dod, who hoped to use her as leverage over Clovis in their financial dealings. Amidala's poisoning was discovered by her secret husband, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who was posing undercover as her security guard. Understanding that his former love's life was in danger, Clovis assisted Skywalker in his attempt to get her off of Cato Neimoidia, during which he confronted Dod and forced his co-conspirator to provide them with an antidote to Amidala's poison. Despite his aid in removing Amidala from Lott Dod's palace, Skywalker was still bitter with Clovis due to his advances on Amidala, and so left the Senator on Cato Neimoidia to face the wrath of Dod and Poggle the Lesser. "Chopper" was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in Clone Sergeant Slick's platoon during the Clone Wars. An aggressive soldier, Chopper was scarred during a battle droid ambush on Geonosis, and he came to hold a personal grudge against his Separatist adversaries. In 21 BBY, he was dispatched with a Jedi-led contingent of the Grand Army of the Republic to liberate the planet Christophsis from the Confederacy. When the Separatists foiled the Republic's attempt to ambush them, Chopper and his unit were forced to retreat with the rest of the Republic troops back to their base. While there, Chopper secretly made war trophies out of droid fingers pilfered from the battlefield, an exploit he was later forced to disclose when his superiors, Clone Commander CC-2224 and Clone Captain CT-7567, interrogated his unit to root out a potential Separatist spy. ZygerrianEdit

Zygerrian2.jpg
"Zygerrians? Are they Separatists too?"
"Worse. They are the most notorious slave traders in the galaxy."
―Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker[src]

The Zygerrians were a sentient species of red-haired Near-Humans native of the planet Zygerria. Members of the species were medium-sized, standing 1.7 meters tall on average and weighing around sixty kilograms. The Zygerrians were distinguished by their pointed ears and a number of bony spurs on their face. The species was well-known for its long history of violence, war, and slavery, which they viewed as a natural order of life. This contributed to the fact that the Zygerrians were regarded somewhat primitive, but at the same time feared across the galaxy. The founders of the Zygerrian Slavers Guild, the Zygerrians conducted slaving operations in the Outer Rim Territories for centuries before the Clone Wars. At one point, the species was crushed by the Jedi Order, but they eventually recovered.

During the Clone Wars, the Zygerrians allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems led by Count Dooku in hopes of expanding their slaver empire. The Confederacy supplied them with the captured Togruta population of the planet Kiros, whom the Zygerrians hoped to sell at an auction. However, misunderstandings between Dooku and the Zygerrian Queen Miraj Scintel led to Scintel's death, while the Togruta were rescued by the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Zygerrian slaving business thrived, since slavery was permitted by the Imperial Decree A-SL-4557.607.232. The Zygerrians kept close ties with the Empire, supplying it with slaves and receiving discounts on slaver permits in exchange. Due to the nature of their business, though, the Zygerrians also became targets for Rebel privateers, bounty hunters and other spacers. (Read more…)

Battle of Orto PlutoniaEdit

Battle of Orto Plutonia.jpg
"I have led our people since before you were born. I've seen a hundred planets rise and fall through force of arms. If it's not the Separatists out there, then it is an aggressive and malevolent enemy nonetheless, and I will not let whoever it is jeopardize the security of the people of Pantora."
―Chi Cho, to Riyo Chuchi[src]

This battle took place on the planet Orto Plutonia around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. Sometime during the war, the Galactic Republic built Glid Station on the planet to watch for any surprise Separatist invasions around the Pantora system. Due to the amount of military activity on the planet, Orto Plutonia's only indigenous species, the Talz, attacked the base, killing the clone troopers stationed there, and also assaulted the nearby Confederate base. High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker were dispatched to investigate the loss of contact with the base, and they subsequently discovered the Talz, whose presence on the planet had not yet been recorded. After meeting with the Talz's leader, Thi-Sen, the Jedi sought to establish a peaceful agreement between the Republic and the Talz, but Chi Cho, Chairman of the Pantoran Assembly, instead declared war on the planet's natives in an attempt to remove them from the planet.

While the two Jedi remained near Glid Station with Pantoran Senator Riyo Chuchi to speak with the Pantoran Assembly and officially resolve the conflict, Clone Captain Rex and a group of clone troopers were tasked with protecting Cho from the Talz. After the Talz ambushed Cho and the clones, Cho became injured when a Talz threw a spear at him. Despite this, Rex fled the area with the other clones, bringing the incapacitated Cho along on his BARC speeder. Thi-Sen and the Talz pursued Rex and his team and trapped the clone troopers at a dead-end cliff overlooking a canyon, but Kenobi, Skywalker, and Chuchi landed at the battle site and halted the Talz's attack. To settle the conflict between the Pantorans and the Talz, Chuchi met with Thi-Sen, establishing an agreement that allowed the Talz to live in peace on the planet.(Read more…)

Teckla Minnau was a Human female who served as a handmaiden to such Naboo politicians as Senator Padmé Amidala and Queen Kylantha. Born in the city of Parrlay, Minnau attended a private school in Naboo's capital, Theed, with her half-sister, Nandi. When the Trade Federation invaded the planet and attacked Theed in 32 BBY, Minnau fled from the capital and waited out the invasion at a marsh village. Minnau and Nandi later entered into service to Senator Amidala, and in 22 BBY, they managed her family's Lake Country residence of Varykino. At the dawn of the Clone Wars later that year, Minnau was sent to Coruscant's Naboo Embassy, where she worked with Amidala's staff. While raising children in the difficulties of wartime, Minnau helped Amidala by encouraging her in her career in the Republic Senate, and she also assisted in concealing her Senator's pregnancy. "Marrt" was the nickname of a clone trooper sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic's 182nd Legion. Around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars, Marrt and a squad of three clone troopersChatter, Recon, and Knuckles—were sent to the planet Belgaroth on a reconnaissance mission to check a local Republic factory suspected of selling arms to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Republic's enemy in the war. The factory was operated by Czerka, a corporation specializing in weaponry. Once on Belgaroth, Marrt discovered that the head of the facility, Tarin, was secretly dealing with representative Reep Tonith of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, which was connected to the Confederacy.

During the course of the mission, Marrt's entire squad was killed by a droidbreaker, a creature indigenous to Belgaroth. The Sergeant, however, managed to take Tarin into custody, obtained valuable evidence from the facility, and then burned it to the ground. Weeks later, while he was recovering on Sacorria from the injuries he had sustained on Belgaroth, Marrt requested a Jedi Order representative to come visit him in his medical facility. When Jedi Master Kit Fisto and Padawan Ahsoka Tano arrived at the facility, Marrt handed them the evidence that he had extracted from the Czerka factory, an act that helped Fisto expose two senators who had been profiting from deals with the Confederacy. A battle for control of the planet Felucia took place between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems around the second year of the Clone Wars. When the Confederate General Grievous and the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress seized Felucia with the Separatist Droid Army, Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and the latter's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, were dispatched to lead a clone trooper detachment of the Grand Army of the Republic to maintain the Republic's foothold on the world. However, the Jedi and their forces were soon overwhelmed by the deeply entrenched Separatist troops, and Republic reinforcements were sent to extract the Jedi and the clones from the contested world.

While Hunter Squadron and Star Destroyers from the Republic Navy battled the large Separatist blockade surrounding Felucia, Jedi Master Plo Koon and a Jedi Knight took a squadron of LAAT/i gunships with starfighter escorts to rescue the Jedi and clone troopers on the embattled surface. Republic financial reform billEdit

(Taken to FA by Darth Trayus on May 2, 2011)

Military enhancement bill.jpg
"This is a matter not of philosophy. More troops are needed. The Republic cannot afford to let the Separatists gain any more ground!"
―Senator Gume Saam[src]

Around 21 BBY, the Galactic Senate of the Republic debated and voted upon a bill that allowed for the government to open new lines of credit with the InterGalactic Banking Clan. The legislation was a reactionary move which would allow for greater defense spending in order to counter the high death toll afflicting the Grand Army of the Republic in its fight against the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The bill was written and proposed by the Ishi Tib Senator Gume Saam and received wide support, but raised questions regarding the ability of the Republic to receive loans from major galactic financial institutions. As an answer to those questions, Senator Saam included provisions in his bill that would essentially deregulate the institutions, allowing them to grant loans indiscriminately and apply to them high interest rates.

A number of representatives who were well-known for their anti-war stances spoke out against the bill, claiming that taking out more loans and deregulating the banks would ultimately bankrupt the Republic. The deregulation provision was the most heavily debated clause within the bill, but Senator Saam, Senator Lott Dod, and representative Nix Card were determined to see it pass, primarily because they all either represented or profited from conglomerates like the Banking Clan. The three met their staunchest opposition in the form of Naboo's Senator Padmé Amidala, whose call for peace talks nearly derailed the bill.

Saam, Dod, and Card refused to allow Amidala's peace rhetoric to prevail, and so used their covert association with Confederate Head of State Count Dooku to orchestrate an attack on the Republic capital world of Coruscant. Their plan worked, and following a bombing at the hands of Separatist demolition droids, the Senate approved the financial reform bill, thereby deregulating the banking system and rejecting the notion of a peaceful resolution to the Clone Wars. The approval was immediately followed by a successful push for an expansion of the military. (Read more…)

"I have recommended an increase in patrols along the region. I will lead the sweeps in the Triumphant and maintain constant communication."
―Plo Koon volunteers to lead a hunt for the Malevolence with the Triumphant[src]

The Triumphant was a Venator-class Star Destroyer that served in the Republic Navy as Jedi General Plo Koon's flagship during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, the Triumphant was part of a Republic strike force of three Star Destroyers tasked with hunting down the Confederacy's new battleship, the Malevolence, which had committed several attacks on Republic fleets across the galaxy. After tracking the Malevolence to the Abregado system, the Triumphant and the rest of Koon's fleet were assaulted by the Separatist warship, which used one of its ion pulse cannons to disable the entire fleet's deflector shields. Completely defenseless, Koon's flotilla was destroyed by the Malevolence's turbolasers, although Koon and some of the Triumphant's clone trooper crew were able to escape in the Star Destroyer's escape pods before the cruiser was completely obliterated. Neeyutnee.jpg
"I need you to convince the Senate, or the Jedi Council, or whoever is in charge of this terrible war that we are threatened."
―Queen Neeyutnee, to Padmé Amidala[src]

Queen Neeyutnee was a Human female politician who ruled as the Monarch of Naboo during the tumultuous time of the Clone Wars. Elected in 21 BBY as the successor to Queen Jamillia, the very young but mature Neeyutnee became closely involved with the Naboo Royal Advisory Council, the Royal Security Forces, and Boss Rugor Nass of the Gungans. Not long after ascending to the throne, Neeyutnee was faced with a subtle Trade Federation incursion on her homeworld when a Separatist battle droid patrol was found in Naboo's grasslands. She worked swiftly with Captain Gregar Typho and Senator Padmé Amidala to uncover the nature of the threat, and Amidala's following investigations resulted in the discovery and eradication of a secret Separatist laboratory that had been recreating the Blue Shadow Virus on their world. Neeyutnee only served one term before stepping down as Naboo's monarch, and, by 19 BBY, she had been succeeded by Queen Apailana. (Read more…)

R3-S6Edit

(Taken to FA by JangFett on July 4, 2011)

R3S6-SWE.png

R3-S6 was a masculine programmed R3-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton on the planet Nubia around the time of the Clone Wars. On his homeworld, R3-S6 was stolen by a group of agents hired by the Confederate General Grievous. They took R3-S6 to the planet Milagro where the astromech droid underwent reprogramming to become a spy for Grievous. The reprogrammed R3-S6 was sold to the Galactic Republic to become Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker's new astromech droid, as a replacement droid for R2-D2, Skywalker's previous astromech droid. R3-S6 accompanied Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, as the two Jedi searched for Skywalker's previous astromech droid in the remnants of the Battle of Bothawui in Bothawui space. When the group came across a Trandoshan scavenging freighter in the battle aftermath's debris field, R3-S6, Skywalker, and Tano boarded the vessel to find R2-D2.

After the unsuccessful search aboard the freighter, R3-S6 and Skywalker embarked on a new mission to sweep through suspected Confederate space. The operation was thwarted by Grievous, who tracked Skywalker via the Jedi Knight's starfighter homing beacon, though R3-S6 and Skywalker were rescued by the timely arrival of Tano aboard Skywalker's freighter. Inside the ship, R3-S6 and Tano received a transmission from R2-D2, and Skywalker ordered them to track the signal which led the group to Skytop Station, a Confederate listening post. In the station, Skywalker went to find R2-D2, while R3-S6, Tano, and a group of clone troopers left to destroy the station's reactor core. R3-S6 watched as Grievous confronted Tano's group and attacked Tano, though the Padawan retreated with R3-S6 to a storage room. As the Padawan hid from Grievous in the room for some time, Tano spotted R3-S6 conferring with Grievous and found out the droid's true allegiance. The droid soon left Tano, and found Skywalker in the base's hangar, who also found out that R3-S6 was a spy droid. R3-S6 was destroyed when he was hit by flying debris after a brawl with R2-D2 on a catwalk outside the listening post.(Read more…)

MatchstickEdit

(Taken to FA by Kilson on July 4, 2011)

Matchstick.jpg

"Matchstick" was the nickname of a clone trooper pilot who served in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Matchstick was the commander of the Republic's Shadow Squadron, flying under the call sign "Shadow Two." In 21 BBY, while Matchstick and Shadow Squadron were serving under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, the Confederate Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence began attacking a number of Republic fleets across the galaxy. Following the Battle of Abregado, Matchstick and Shadow Squadron accompanied Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to the Bormus Testing Facility to retrieve several BTL-B Y-wing starfighters for an upcoming assault on the Malevolence.

After acquiring the starfighters, Skywalker developed a plan to destroy the Malevolence with the newly acquired bombers by ambushing the Confederate warship near the Kaliida Nebula. After being briefed about their mission aboard Skywalker's flagship, the Resolute, Matchstick and Shadow Squadron—with Skywalker in the lead—departed the Resolute and took a dangerous shortcut through the nebula to intercept the Malevolence. During the journey, Matchstick's bomber was damaged after a large neebray manta—a winged vacuumbreather nesting in the nebula—grazed his fighter's port engine, although the pilot was able to continue on with his squadron. Upon emerging from the nebula, Shadow Squadron engaged the Malevolence and the Vulture droid starfighters that it deployed. When the massive warship fired its ion pulse cannon on the squadron, Matchsticks' engines failed while attempting evasive maneuvers due to the damage inflicted by the neebray manta. Losing control of his ship, Matchstick collided with squadmate Tag's Y-wing, which killed both pilots.(Read more…)

ObexEdit

Nu-class shuttle.jpg
"They should have checked in from the Rishi station hours ago."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi, wondering why the Obex's crew had not reported in yet[src]

The Obex was a Nu-class shuttle used by the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Clone Captain CT-7567 and Clone Commander CC-2224—nicknamed "Rex" and "Cody," respectively—utilized the Obex as their transport during a routine inspection tour of several Republic outposts across the galaxy. The Obex first brought the clone officers to a tracking station on the planet Pastil, where Rex and Cody discovered that a Separatist spy droid had infiltrated the station. After the clone officers destroyed the droid with the help of the station's clone troopers, the Obex, piloted by Rex, transported the officers to Rishi Station, a listening post on the Rishi moon. However, unbeknownst to Rex and Cody, the listening post had been taken over by Separatist commando droids and, when Rex landed the Obex on the station's landing pad and disembarked from the shuttle, the two clones were ambushed by the commando droids. The clone officers hid behind crates to avoid the droids' blaster fire; however, the droids soon threw several thermal detonators under the Obex and destroyed the starship. (Read more…)

Battle of Sullust (Clone Wars)Edit

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on July 30, 2011)

BattleOfSullustSystem Nightsisters.jpg
"Master, I need your help quickly. I am surrounded."
"You have already lost the battle, child. I've ordered your reinforcements to return."
"No! I will destroy the Jedi. I'll show you!"
"You have failed me for the last time. You are no longer my apprentice. And now, you shall die."
―Asajj Ventress is betrayed by Count Dooku during the Battle of Sullust[src]

The Battle of Sullust took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, when the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic clashed in the Sullust system. While a Confederate fleet waged an intense space battle against a Republic flotilla commanded by Admiral Wullf Yularen and Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress personally led the Separatists' starfighters against the Republic task force. Spearheading droid tri-fighter attacks, Ventress destroyed the Resolute, the flagship of Skywalker and Yularen, before moving in to challenge Skywalker and Kenobi in starfighter combat, dealing losses all the while. However, her push for success soon saw interference from her own Master, Count Dooku.

Charged by his Sith Master, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, with killing Ventress to prove his true allegiance to his Master, Dooku ordered an attempt on his apprentice's life. After recalling Ventress's reinforcements, Dooku had the tactical droid TJ-912 and her Separatist destroyer directly assault and destroy the Separatist command ship, where Ventress had engaged Skywalker and Kenobi in a lightsaber duel. With the Confederate fleet sustaining heavy damage, Dooku ordered TJ-912 to recall their armada from the system. However, both Ventress and the Jedi escaped from the command ship prior to its annihilation. Presumed to have died in the battle, the betrayed Ventress turned to her people, the Nightsisters of Dathomir, for aid in taking revenge on Dooku. (Read more…)

―Hawk, upon touching down on Teth — (audio)Listen (file info)[src]

"Hawk" was the call sign of a clone trooper lieutenant and pilot who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. An expert pilot, Hawk was named for his highly precise hawk-like eyes. He saw action, particularly with the 501st Legion, on many worlds during the war, including Christophsis. During a battle there in 21 BBY, he rescued a clone trooper strike team led by Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker after a thwarted Republic attempt to ambush Confederate battle droids. Later, during an operation to rescue Rotta the Huttlet, the son of crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, Hawk ferried Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, along with Clone Captain CT-7567 and a squad from the 501st Legion's Torrent Company, to the surface of Teth. Hawk also participated in a Republic campaign to retake Umbara from the Confederacy, transporting Skywalker and CT-7567 to the planet's surface at the outset of the battle. (Read more…)

Philo.jpg
"It was an honor to work for such a great man who held the Republic in such high esteem. Cad Bane will pay for this despicable act! I will make sure of it."
―Salo laments Philo's murder[src]

Philo was a Gran male politician who gained much respect as a senator in the Senate of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, he led a coalition of like-minded senators in opposition to the Enhanced Privacy Invasion Bill that was supported by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Philo determinedly worked with his colleagues—who included prominent senators Bail Prestor Organa, Padmé Amidala, Onaconda Farr, Riyo Chuchi, and Kin Robb—to prevent the legislation from being passed. At a meeting shortly before the vote on the bill was to take place, Philo and his associates were confronted by a group of mercenaries led by the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who took the senators hostage to force Palpatine into releasing the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure from Republic custody. Although Philo, regarding Bane's audacity with contempt, attempted to walk out from the hostage situation, he was shot in the back and killed by the bounty hunter. (Read more…)
