Limestone

Binog Mesa
"But this isn't marble or limestone. It's… bone?"
―Detta Yao, looking at a wall made of bones[13]
Limestone was a type of white stone which, together with clay, constituted the geology of the Outer Rim Territories planet Bogano. It resembled marble and bones, and the Resistance base on the Outer Rim moon Ajan Kloss was built within a limestone cave. Artificial limestone could be used as a building material, such as the walls of Zord's Spa and Bathhouse, a spa located in the city Canto Bight on the Outer Rim planet Cantonica.

Around 3 ABY, archeologists Chelli Lona Aphra, Eustacia Okka, and Detta Yao, along with smuggler Just Lucky and bounty hunter Krrsantan, traveled to the city of Vaale on the planet Dianth in the Malitoris system and saw a wall made of bones that Yao first thought was either marble or limestone. Shadow of the Sith (video game)

(Taken to CA by Dentface on October 15, 2021)

"Eventually, I ended up pulling elements from several of the pitches to craft the pitch for The Force Unleashed. As we wrapped up TFU, I started working on some new concepts and revisited the far-future concept under the name 'Shadow of the Sith.'"
―W. Haden Blackman[14]
Shadow of the Sith was a proposed video game concept by W. Haden Blackman for development at the video game studio LucasArts. It would have featured Sith far in the future compared to the time period of the main Star Wars franchise.

Development on the project began in 2008 after production on the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed began to wind down. Blackman had previously pitched a project in 2004 titled Star Wars Episode VII: Shadows of the Sith, focusing on the character of Ben Skywalker. While the project ultimately did not move forward, Blackman repurposed loose elements, including part of the title, for the new project in 2008.

Ultimately, work on Shadow of the Sith itself halted and Blackman shifted his focus to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. The concept of a "far-future" Sith video game would later be included in the similarly canceled Battle of the Sith Lords, a project in development at Red Fly Studio under the guidance of LucasArts. NydakAlpha

The Nydak Alpha was a rare subtype of the Lesser Nydak, apex predators native to the Outer Rim Territories planet Dathomir. They shared many similarities with the Lesser Nydak, such as their black eyes, though it had several differences including its light blue and gray skin, with larger spikes along their limbs and back. Additionally, their bones were hardened and rich in nutrients due to being covered by a resistant hide, making it impossible to sever its arms. Their forearms allowed for versatile climbing and asymmetrical traversal.

The Nydak Alphas were more aggressive, relentless, and reclusive than the Lesser Nydaks. Due to their powerful forearms, they were also deadlier than the regular nydaks. In combat, the Nydak Alpha used intellect and strength to defend against multiple parries.

In 14 BBY, the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis visited Dathomir as part of a secret mission to rebuild the Jedi Order. During his journey, Kestis killed a Nydak Alpha in the planet's Nightmare Ruins. (Read more…)
