• Creating and maintaining articles for all of the new characters, battles, conflicts, locations, years, ship classes, and other subjects introduced in The Essential Guide to Warfare.
• Update all existing articles with the new information from The Essential Guide to Warfare, as the Guide has introduced a great deal of backstory to many of our pre-existing articles.
• Create subcategories for all conflicts, ships, characters, and other articles introduced in the Essential Guide to Warfare.
• To bring articles based on The Essential Guide to Warfare to featured article, good article or comprehensive article status. For many articles The Essential Guide to Warfare will be the only source for it, so these pages especially should be comprehensive.

Writing and editingEdit

1. Always use proper grammar and spelling.
2. Write articles from a balanced, fair, and neutral point of view
3. Follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide and all other policies on Wookieepedia.
4. Properly source all information in an article via either reference tags or self-sourcing statements.
5. Ensure all quotes and pictures are properly formatted, attributed, and sourced.
6. Include a thorough and well-written "Behind the Scenes" that makes note of the subject's origin, whether it be the Guide or a previous source. Please mention if the EGW has confirmed or presented additional information, or retconned previously existing information.
   • Example change: the beginning of the Alsakan Conflicts was narrowed down to 17,018 BBY, instead of the more general 17,000 BBY.
   • Example addition: Admiral Ackbar's first name was established as Gial.
