Words of banishment was a Force technique used by the Jedi Knight Samuro to imprisoned the energy vampire Rajine hundreds of years before the Battle of Yavin but had to sacrifice his life to do so.

Many years later when Jedi Master Mace Windu arrived on Rajine's world searching for missing clone troopers, he encountered Countess Rajine, who proceeded to capture the Jedi. The droid Z-18, who used to serve Samuro, helped Mace escape and gave him the Jedi's holocron. With this device Mace, along with the essence of Samuro, were able to free the life forces of Rajine's victims by speaking the words of banishment, the zombies then turned against the Countess.
