"Wrecker" was a clone commando who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. His unit, known as Clone Force 99 and nicknamed "The Bad Batch", was comprised of "defective" clones with desirable genetic mutations. In Wrecker's case, his mutations granted him enormous size and superhuman strength, but his short temper made him dangerous to friend and foe alike. He had a love for explosions and a deep passion for busting up battle droids with his bare hands. In combat, Wrecker was known to use a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon, rocket launcher, commando knife, and DC-17MBR.

Biography

In 19 BBY, Wrecker was deployed to put down an insurrection on Yalvik Prime as part of Clone Force 99. During the insurrection, the Wrecker cut off the queen's stinger while she was still alive. Much to the horror of his comrades, the Yalvik males attempted to mate with the soliders. The clones proceeded to fight their way off Yalvik Prime to respond to a communique sent by Clone marshal commander CC-2224 "Cody".

The communique summoned the squad to Anaxes, where the Republic was fighting a drawn-out battle against Separatist forces commanded by Admiral Trench. Clone Captain CT-7567 "Rex" deduced that Trench had gained access to his strategy-generating algorithm, which had been studied in great detail by Advanced Recon Commando CT-1409 "Echo". Although Echo had been listed as killed in action at the Citadel during the Battle of Lola Sayu, Rex speculated that Echo had been carrying the algorithm on his person during the battle. In order to retrieve the algorithm and undermine Trench's advantages on Anaxes, Clone Force 99 would have to infiltrate the Separatist command center and steal the algorithm.

Despite some squabbling between the "regs" of the 501st Legion and the supersoliders of the Bad Batch, the mission to steal the algorithm was a success. Although the squad didn't find evidence of the algorithm being stored on the premises, they discovered that the command center was receiving live signals from Skako Minor. Rex deduced that the live signal was evidence that Echo was still alive, and was being held captive by Separatist forces.
