Wuluw

Wuluw was a Killik hive. They had an enhanced use of Joining that allowed for them to communicate over longer distances than normal Killiks could. During the Swarm War, they were used as organic battlefield communicators, similar to Yuuzhan Vong villips and yammosks. They had bulging yellow eyes and a thin brown chitin, but were considerably more fragile than other Killiks. Many Wuluw died in the Battle of Tenupe serving as Jaina Solo's communications relay. She commented that the Wuluw would earn their own verse in the Song of the Universe for their bravery at that battle.
