CharacteristicsEdit

When a wyrwulf reached puberty, it encased itself in a cocoon, from which emerged a Codru-Ji adult several weeks later. The appearance of the wyrwulf was often frightening, although it meant no harm to those with good intentions. However, the wyrwulf was very protective of its owner or those under its care. The relationship between the wyrwulf and its owner was very strong and could possibly be compared to the relationship between a dog and a human.

Behind the scenesEdit

The word 'wyrwulf' possibly comes from the werewolf, which, according to legend, is a Human being, which transforms to a fearsome wolf-like beast at full moon, then transforms back. The transformation of wyrwulves to Codru-Ji can be an analogue of this process, therefore the inspiration for wyrwulves could have been the werewolf.
