X-3 was an assassin created by Rezi Soresh in an experiment to make the perfect assassin.

X-3 was created along with X-1, X-2, X-4, X-5, X-6, and X-7. He, along with the others, was created by Rezi Soresh. X-7, however, was the only one who survived their training.
