This clone army was created by X1, a former clone trooper who had become a Sith Lord, in order to conquer the galaxy. The clones were created in X1's laboratory on Mustafar, and X1 captured Luke Skywalker in order to clone an army of Dark Jedi. However, X2 led New Republic forces in a battle that freed Skywalker and killed X1, ending his plans for galactic conquest.
