An XCiter, also known as a gas conversion enabler, was a component used in blasters to agitate gas molecules. When a blaster was fired, the pulled trigger opened the Heter valve, which released a small quantity of gas into the XCiter, where the molecules became agitated. From there, the gas moved to the actuating blaster module.
