Xabar was a species of violet-colored fungus that was native to the world of Xagobah. It possessed tentacles that released toxins on contact with foreign objects or other creatures, causing total, but temporary, muscle paralysis. Street youths that were intrigued with the afterlife were known to use it as a drug because of its rigor mortis-like effects.
