Biography
Edit
Xalek was the name Overseer Harkun gave the Kaleesh, being processed as an acolyte at the Korriban Sith Academy, as the Human couldn't understand Xalek's name in his native language. Xalek was responsible for the deaths of two fellow acolytes before they arrived. Though his group was passed up by Darth Thanaton, Lord Kallig was interested in gaining a new apprentice after the previous ones were massacred by Thanaton, especially since having a Korriban acolyte was a sign of prestige.
Xalek passed through his trials, but when it became apparent that the Twi'lek Seferiss was going to be chosen, Xalek simply walked up and killed him. Harkun was displeased with this, as acolytes were forbidden to kill each other and decided to pass Xalek up. Kallig, nonetheless, took Xalek anyway.
Xalek was not his master's first apprentice, he had a Jedi among his crew, and two apprentices that had served Zash, though dead now, and a cult in his service. But Xalek was on his master's personal ship where he did his master's bidding and learned the ways of the Sith.
Xalek revealed to his master that he was taken in battle, but spared for his power. Xalek had somehow kept in contact with his father; though his father passed away on Ilum during his apprenticeship to Kallig.
Personality and traits
Edit
Xalek was described as a wild animal, his only comprehensive understanding of the Sith code being "kill or be killed." Though he was utterly loyal to Kallig, he sometimes suggested that he would one day rise above the Master.
