Xandel Carivus's Private Guard were a group of soldiers established as an elite bodyguard unit by Xandel Carivus sometime prior to him becoming head of the Interim Ruling Council, presumably on the advice of Nom Anor. After Carivus took power, he used them to purge the Council of his opponents. The Guard were all killed by Kir Kanos in the Battle of Ord Cantrell.
