Biology
Edit
Xenomorphs were a little-known parasitic reptilian species. In order to breed, a larval Xenomorph, hatched from an egg, would attack a mammalian host, such as a Human, and implant an embryo in the host's digestive tract. Over the span of several standard hours, the embryo would begin to grow and the original larva would die. When gestation was complete, the baby Xenomorph would burst out of its host, killing it in the process. Within a matter of days, the embryo developed into a full-grown Xenomorph.[1]
Xenomorph society existed as a hive, controlled by one queen. On average, the queen was twice as large, tough, and intelligent as the drone and warrior Xenomorphs that served her. She could use her tail to spear victims and naturally camouflaged herself with wall-coating secretions.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit

The Xenomorph concept began in the film Alien, based on the designs of fantasy artist H. R. Giger. The first movie later spawned three other sequels, along with two crossovers. It was later adapted for possible incorporation with the Star Wars D6 system. These creatures have appeared in many other non-Star Wars franchises as well, such as the comics Superman vs Aliens, Batman vs Aliens, and WildC.A.T.s vs Aliens.[2]
Xenomorphs appears in the first chapter of I.M.P.S.: The Relentless, a Star Wars fan film. They are found to be merely just skulls of the aliens in the hands of Yautjas in the Davenport Gateway system. What appears to be a Xenomorph can be seen in one panel of X-wing Rogue Squadron: The Phantom Affair.
In the "Mirror Mirror" article published in InQuest 39, Wizard Entertainment gave an explanation for the Star Trek, Aliens, Terminator and Star Wars universes being joined together so that CCG players could use the two systems together. However, the article has not been been confirmed as officially licensed by Lucasfilm.[3]
