The YG series was a line of light freighters manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation centuries before the Battle of Yavin. They were later followed by the YT series of freighters (including such famous ships as the Millennium Falcon and the Outrider) and the VCX series, which debuted around the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
