The YVH-series battle droid line was built by Tendrando Arms to specifically combat the Yuuzhan Vong. They saw some use after the Yuuzhan Vong War, as well.

While they were noted as being specialized in hunting the Yuuzhan Vong, they were equally formidable against other targets as well. In a battle against Jedi on a one-to-one basis, it was believed that the odds were even and depended on whether the battle dragged on as the Jedi opponent was likely to get tired and eventually killed in combat against a YVH-series droid.^[1]

The droids had multiple minicannons mounted on their arms and had thick self healing armor made of laminanium. They also had grenade launchers. Along with formidable armament, they sported highly advanced self-destruct mechanisms so when they were damaged beyond repair they would attempt to destroy as many enemies as possible in their last act of violence. The droids were powerful enough to destroy several strafing coralskippers during the battle in the Baanu Rass. This maximum destruction motive caused the highest compliment YVH-droids to give each other was "Maximum Efficiency".
