In 27 BBY, Chief Yal'avi'kema was the senior engineering officer aboard the cruiser Springhawk, the command ship of Force Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo and Picket Force Two of the Chiss Expansionary Fleet. In that capacity, he led the boarding party that successfully acquired a Vagaari gravity-well generator above the Geroon homeworld.[1]
