"Sorry we're late, Commander. We were putting down an insurrection on Yalvik Prime when your comm came in. Had a few unforeseen… complications."
―Hunter apologises to Cody for being late[src]

Yalvik Prime was a location where an insurrection took place during the Clone Wars. The Republic's Clone Force 99, an elite group of clone troopers, were sent to put down the insurrection, but complications arose when a member of the group known as Wrecker cut off the stinger of a Yalvik queen. Various male Yalvik then tried to mate with them, but the group eventually managed to leave Yalvik Prime and travel to the planet Anaxes for their next mission.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Yalvik Prime was first mentioned in "The Bad Batch," an episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. The episode was written to be the premiere of the show's seventh season, but The Clone Wars was canceled before it was made and released. The unfinished story reels of the episodes were then shown at Celebration Anaheim in 2015, before being released on later that year as part of The Clone Wars Legacy.
