Yanne was Kueller's assistant after Femon who was chosen because he expressed his opinion even if it was not in sync with Kueller's.[1] After Kueller's death in 17 ABY, Yanne assumed control of Almania and opened talks with the New Republic. However, he was soon overthrown by Gant,[source?] an assistant Kueller had trained to replace Yanne.[1]
