The Yan-thans were beings who excised venom-sacs from creatures, native to the planet of Ploo II, called windsnakes. They were very skilled in this task and rarely erred, which would result in what they termed dying well. In 21 BBY, Separatist^[1] Commander^[2] Asajj Ventress presented the X'Ting criminal Trillot with two windsnakes that had had their vemom-sacs removed by Yan-thans.^[1]
