Yeep was a Teek who appeared aboard the ship of Tuner Ryna, who enrolled him in the 22 BBY Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beings. After the judges declared him "adequately sentient", Yeep won the biped race.
Upon encountering Yeep, the other participants of the event did not recognize his species. Only after comprehensive anthropological studies of the galaxy was his species revealed.

- In an article in HoloNet News Vol. 531 52, a character called "Yeep" bears the appearance of a Teek. However, his species is not given in the article. Teeks were obviously unrecognized in the wider galaxy as a Teek competing in the Pyre Folas, Teyr annual Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beings meet of 22 BBY was described as being of unknown origins. In addition to Yeep's appearance, the article states that he won the 22 BBY "Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beings" meet by "out-distancing the field with a flash of speed", which is a distictive trait of the Teek species. His appearance, combined with his speed, make it obvious to the reader what species the character is.
